Description: At Flaherty's...Fish is Everything! We know good seafood, we know how to buy it and we know how to prepare it. Unlike most restaurants (even the best of them) where fish is often a secondary item on the menu...at Flaherty's it's all about seafood. Here, you will experience a small town, comfortable, family atmosphere, where quality ingredients and quality preparation come together with quality service. We also include gluten free items in our menu to provide all of our customers with the best service possible. It's who we are...come and experience seafood like it was meant to be.

We finally got the chance to get away to the coast! After a walk on the beach we decided to head in to Carmel for dinner. We walked around looking for a nice spot and came across Flaherty's. It was crowded, but after taking a peak at the menu, we decided to see how much of a wait we might... More

Large portions, delicious meals, casual place and very reasonable prices. The staff was very nice and friendly. We visited the restaurant for lunch and we ordered two different dishes: a fresh fish curry with rice medley, and a lobster chilly. The portions came so large that we could have just shared one. But I am so glad we got the... More

We met a couple leaving the restaurant that helped us make our decision to dine at Flaherty’s that evening. They attested to the quality of their dinner, so after a short wait in we went. We sat at the bar as tables were crowded and there we waited. After engaging in a conversation with the couple next to us for... More

I've been eating at the oyster bar since it opened and always enjoyed it. I ate there twice last weekend and was very disappointed in the food. The drinks and service were fine. The whole cracked crab was good but it is hard to ruin unless it's old. The salmon and petrale sole were awful-dry and gray in color. The... More

Flaherty's is really two restaurants served from one kitchen. The Oyster Bar is open for lunch and dinner and is very casual and relaxed. The Grill is more subdued and elegant, but not at all pretentious. The same great food is available in either room. I like the Oyster Bar for lunch on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon where I... More

At 7.30pm the restaurant was nearly empty and then half full by 9pm on a Friday. The service was great and the food was cooked and presented well. We had one starter, two mains and one dessert. One glass of wine and two cokes. $119. is that good or not? Maybe its just that we are in a "cool" town.... More

Food was delicious. Decor was neat; but it was a little too crowded (around 2pm the oyester bar had no seats left). The server did not speak the greatest English and did not go overboard trying to make us comfortable. It was a good experience and good lunch, but next time I'm in the area I might look at other... I recently dined here with my husband, and I really enjoyed the salmon/tuna tartar plate. I also devoured some raw oysters with a wonderful migonette sauce. Everything was fresh, & super tasty. Can't wait to go back and take my dad who is an oyster freak! Loved it, loved it!
