Description: At Flaherty's...Fish is Everything! We know good seafood, we know how to buy it and we know how to prepare it. Unlike most restaurants (even the best of them) where fish is often a secondary item on the menu...at Flaherty's it's all about seafood. Here, you will experience a small town, comfortable, family atmosphere, where quality ingredients and quality preparation come together with quality service. We also include gluten free items in our menu to provide all of our customers with the best service possible. It's who we are...come and experience seafood like it was meant to be.

Found this review looking for the dish and searching for a recipe. I don't generally get excited about food and was absolutely high with delight after experiencing this amazing meal. It is a rich and homey meal that I could see trying to replicate at home and will certainly make this a "must repeat" experience next time I'm in Carmel.

This place is great, we just walked in by chance for a mid-afternoon late lunch with no expectations and had surprisingly good meal. I highly recommend the lobster bisque and also the crab carbonara. The tuna melt is quite good, but not as exceptional as the crab carbonara which is both tasty and filling, Carmel has quite a few snooty... More

I love this place - the food is great and the atmosphere offers something for everyone. There are three dining areas, on one side of an alley there is the dining room which is has a more white tablecloth dressup for a night out feel, then across the alley the other dning space has more of a pub feel, lot's... My other half and I visited Flaherty's on a whim, ordering some east coast and west coast oysters and two vodka martinis straight up. Oysters were fresh, bartender steered us to a great lunch spot, the Hyatt Highlands near Carmel. Friendly, a lot of locals. As with some places I have been lately, the restaurants needs to turn down the... More

The crab cakes are a must for appetizer! The Seabass and halibut are exquisitely delish. The ambience is calm and romantico !

We'd got a nice table in the dining room thanks to a nice hostess at the front door, otherwise we've offered to eat at the bar with a TV football on... b/c there was some sort of group event in the main room. Turned out, the group was small and their event was coming to the end, so the noise... More

Wonderful, thoughtful server who provided a gluten-free menu and went over options with my spouse. Having gluten-free bread was a big plus for her. Food was tasty -- a step below "foodie/gourmet" level, but fresh and well-prepared.

The food was actually good, but small plates, the wine was nice, but the personnel seems to be boring exempt one of them that give his best to satisfy us overreacting. Finally was very expensive and I always leave good tip, but I hate the tip to be automatically to my bill.

The recent upgrades are good ideas but this is about seafood dining. Chef Frank practically grew up in Flaherty's and is a master seafood specialist. And if it's Monterey Spot Prawn season Frank will have them (sweeter more succulent than any 2 lb. Maine lobster) will change your world. Okay, it will be a high point of your week/month! .

We have always loved Flahertys for lunch but they have added cute outside patio tables so our dog can dine with us. Great idea guys! Thanks. Outdoor heaters made it comfy in December.
