Avoid the salad-stick with the entree.

We love salads had ordered the crab louie. Not much greens and certainly no variety in the greens. Fish with mango, burre blanc and chard was much better. They let us split at no extra charge. $19 for a half bottle of Kim Crawford Sauv Blanc.

Thank you Flahertys staff you made my day. We went in for our Valentine's dinner and we enjoyed every bite of it. Began with appetizers and even ended up with dessert on top of everything. Glad to see this place is still here after many years

I have never had such bad lobster bisque. The bisque had no lobster or flavor, and they served it over rice! There were six of us, and no one had a good meal.

Victoria took very good care of all five of us. No rush or pushing of drinks or food add-ons. The food and ambiance were very good with a cozy atmosphere for getting to know the other tourists sitting next to you and seeing what others are eating. The salads, small or large are prepared with really fresh local ingredients and... More

What a great place! I stopped in for lunch and ended up having dessert also. Our waiter was very attentive and offered a few different choices of plates.I had the house beer, blackened halibut served with rice and vegetables. To start I ordered crab cakes for an appetizer. All was very fresh and delicious. The logan berry pie with ice... More

One evening in Carmel we went to Flaherty's Seafood Grill because we wanted a casual stop that offered local fare. Flaherty's did not disappoint. I have a very nice martini, while my wife sipped a local Cabernet as we perused the offerings. Pretty quickly, I decided that I wanted the Pacific Coast raw oyster medley. It came with a Mignonette... More

We didn't know how busy it would be and called to make reservations. They are very friendly on the phone. We arrived 20 minutes before our reservation but they sat is anyway since it was just the start of dinner rush time. Immediately we were served water and fresh bread when we placed an order for appetizer, calamari. The calamari... More

We were looking for a lite seafood lunch after a stroll on the beach. Flaherty's was recommended by a merchant on 6th Street. We had Calamari with an excellent dipping sauce, Cioppino and a fresh crab salad. Everything was excellent including the service. Highly recommend.

The fresh seafood appetizer is highly recommended, as well as the new england clam chowder! The Manhattan chowder was sadly nothing to write home about.

Found this review looking for the dish and searching for a recipe. I don't generally get excited about food and was absolutely high with delight after experiencing this amazing meal. It is a rich and homey meal that I could see trying to replicate at home and will certainly make this a "must repeat" experience next time I'm in Carmel.
