At Flaherty's...Fish is Everything! We know good seafood, we know how to buy it and we know how to prepare it. Unlike most restaurants (even the best of them) where fish is often a secondary item on the menu...at Flaherty's it's all about seafood. Here, you will experience a small town, comfortable, family atmosphere, where quality ingredients and quality preparation come together with quality service. We also include gluten free items in our menu to provide all of our customers with the best service possible. It's who we are...come and experience seafood like it was meant to be.

This restaurant is located in the lovely town of Carmel. The Calm pasta was fantastic and the other seafood was amazing! Would def. recommend it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and helped us with our order.

The food was good and the place was popular. The staff were nice, but the dishes were a little overpriced. We would probably recommend it and its a nice restaurant to visit once, when visiting Carmel, but it is not the best Seafood we have eaten.

Our family had sea bass, chicken Cesar salad and salmon and it was fantastic all around. Small dining area but very charming and comfortable. Service was excellent, friendly and helpful in explaining the many seafood options that were available. There were several other options in the area that were less expensive but our meal was well worth the price.

Food was very good....the place was small and tables were close. I mean close...you could hear every conversation around you! The place was crowded and we did feel a bit rushed.

Great food and even better service. To start with, the owner was present, interacted with us and just made us feel welcome - even more importantly he appreciated the fact we were frequenting his establishment. Our waitress was adorable, with a wonderful accent. When we asked, she told us she was from Serbia/Croatia, and she was so friendly and helpful.... More

I travelled from L.A. To Carmel, had dinner here. Very nice, relaxed athmpsphere. We shared a bowl of Lobster Bisque with artichokes and tomato, the size od the bowl is perfect for two if you are not onto large amounts. Then we had pan fried oysters, perfectly cooked and the crab cakes are amazing. So...it is the perfect place to... More

Maybe it was not the best evening for this restaurant but I guess that the way to cook the seafood must be reinvented from scratch. We took cod and grilled salmon. Both awful! Reasonable fried shrimps and chips. The main course (cod and salmon) were sitting on (almost the same) background made of look and other vegetables. The problem is... More

Thank you for your feedback as it allows us to better serve our customers. Respectfully, our Pan Roasted Cod, which is locally caught, wild and fresh is one of our most popular items. The preparation was enjoyed and created by the interest of our local clientele, otherwise, we would have got rid of it five years ago. The grilled salmon... More

We (3 couples) had an early reservation and were seated in the "informal" / bar side of the restaurant. After ordering drinks & our meals, the basketball telecast came on, the TV volume went up and it became clear that our dining experience was going to be less than desirable. To the rescue came Ken who quickly realized our displeasure... More

The food was OK. We ordered the calamari appetizer and shared the lobster melt sandwich. The calamari was average, nothing special some parts were difficult to eat because they were huge clumps fried together. The sandwich was good but nothing special. All in all the prices reflected the area and not the food. The service was ok. Our server disappeared... More
