At Flaherty's...Fish is Everything! We know good seafood, we know how to buy it and we know how to prepare it. Unlike most restaurants (even the best of them) where fish is often a secondary item on the menu...at Flaherty's it's all about seafood. Here, you will experience a small town, comfortable, family atmosphere, where quality ingredients and quality preparation come together with quality service. We also include gluten free items in our menu to provide all of our customers with the best service possible. It's who we are...come and experience seafood like it was meant to be.

Great menu with Italian choices and fresh seafood. Raw oysters where great. The grilled artichokes were disappointing but the cioppino and paella where scrumptious and huge. Doggie bag required as well as reservations.

Upon a friends recommendation, we visited Flaherty's during our anniversary trip to Carmel. We ordered the "award winning" lobster bisque. The soup had a great consistency buts add strong tomato flavor which we did not expect in a lobster bisque. The calamari was good with a flaky crust and a good dipping sauce. Our entree, the shellfish risotto was an... More

We went to Flaherty's for dinner. We had the Scallops & Crab Risotto and the Haddock Fish & Chips. The dinner was awesome. Can't wait our next visit to Carmel

We were looking forward to a wonderful dinner in Carmel. We were visiting for the evening. There was an issue in the kitchen which caused dinner to be delayed. We also seemed to be forgotten. We were there over 2 hours, most of it (about 90 minutes) spent waiting for our food. When we mentioned something about the wait we... More

We dropped in by chance while walking around Carmel going to the galleries. Just meant to have a quick bite. Well, I have to tell you that my friend had the best lunch of his entire trip to CA (6 weeks and all over the place). He is quite a chef himself, just between us, and he has been mentioning... More

The service was poor as well as the food (except for the fire-roasted artichoke - that was very good). We asked the server a question about a certain kind of beer and he looked at us like "duh" it comes with an orange wedge? Seriously? How rude! The pizza I ordered was had a very large amount of green stuff... More

We love this place and eat here whenever we can. The food is always good and includes many dishes suitable for someone who is gluten sensitive.

We were not informed that the dish of Dungeness Crab (the only reason we went) wasn't available until bottle of wine and app were delivered. Given partner's severe shellfish allergy, she carefully ordered salad with "grilled" Ahi Tuna, which arrived swimming in dressing, four slices of cold tuna, AND six grilled SHRIMP! Server stated "I can have the chef remove... More
