Really yummy food and good prices. They don't take bookings and it does get very crowded but don't be put off. The portions are large and can easily be shared between people, we over ordered!

Excellent service and food. Not expensive and portions are big, we order sweet and sour chicken, chicken chow mein and brocoli beef, for us it was perfect. Many choices on the menu, very busy place. I recommend this place.

Eat in or take out always solid and fresh. They really care about their customers. Their hot and sour soup is the best around. Prices for food in this area are steep and at Tommy Wok you get fresh great food at good value. The dinning room is super tiny so take out is what we do.

When my husband ,who is Chinese American, wanted to have Chinese food in carmel I thought, ok, not my first choice for dinner. But I'm really glad we went there. We had pot stickers, crispy duck and stir fried spinach and you couldn't ask for a better meal. The restaurant is small, but definitely worth any wait.

It’s seems that Chinese Restaurants are either great or not-so-great. Let’s set the record right now... Tommy’s Wok is great; actually it’s better than great. On our first visit the place was packed with lots of diners who seemed to be very hungry – but that didn’t discourage us. So we decided to wait for an opening. Lots of people... More

I love this place. Minimal wait, hole in the wall that no one knows about. Tired of french and american food, as a vegetarian it can get very repetitive.. all the rich food with very few choices. I love chinese food when its done right, my wife is american chinese and wont have bad chinese food (she eats meat). This... More

Hidden between buildings and behind an ATM is this little gem. Friendly staff and good fresh food. Nice menu.

Small restaurant tucked away in Carmel-by-the-Sea, but it's the best Chinese food we've ever had. All the items were fresh with nice portions, and our family of five ate every last bite. If we had had more time on our trip, we would have returned. We did make a reservation during a very busy week, and our table was waiting... More

The menu big enough considering the size of the place. They have soft drinks and tea but we all stuck to water and sipped on that. I think there is one restroom in this town, a few streets over to a shopping complex and then 3 floors up. Some sort of ordinance. Service was very slow. I did enjoy my... More

Recently spent a couple nights in Carmel, CA with the family on a summer trip up the coast. The old Chinese restaurant that we used to frequent on our last couple of visits had closed so we tried the new place, called Tommy's Wok. Honestly was expecting average Chinese food, but we were all pleasantly surprised that this was a... More
