Twelve of us came here to carbo-load in advance of the Big Sur Marathon event. Our waiter was efficient (though a bit distracted sometimes), the price was very reasonable, and the location - right behind our hotel - was just perfect. While the food was decent - it's nothing spectacular to write home about. It suited our needs.

I have enjoyed pizza here for many years. Barnyard Center location in Carmel. Good crowd, nice bar, pizza is the best. So why did I order Linguini and clams. The pasta was not linguini, some sort of tube stuff, and very little clams. I will continue to go, but stick with the pizza. Great Selection, many crusts offered. Again, BEST... More

Fun, good pizza, unique for young kids. The "make your own pizza" is a lot of fun for the kids. Dough, sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and a chef's hat combined to make a tasty dish. Pizza is above average, and tasty. Service is painfully slow. Inability to multi-task, and handling one task at a time: s l o w l y... More

My family I visited one afternoon and we where one off 2 tables. That alone should have set the alarm bells ringing, I always think if the quality and food is good a restaurant will have customers. The first thing I noticed is how expensive everything is on the menu, $27 for a pizza, this had better be good. It... More

I'm local. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. I have been going here for years. I have my favorites... the Mediterranean Chicken salad is my number one. Not always on the menu, but I always get it when I ask for it anyway.

This is the best pizza place I have ever eaten in. Went with my daughter and granddaughter today and we had so much fun. My granddaughter got to make her own pizza. They brought her the dough on a pan and the sauce, cheese and toppings in little cups. They even gave her a nice chef hat. She loved making... More

Allegro was just around the corner from our hotel. It was recommended by the hotel staff. We ordered the combination. The toppings were very fresh, the pepperoni had a nice bite to it and the thin crust was just about perfect. The waitresses were very attentive. This is a good place for families because they will adapt the pizza toppings... More

The service was excellent. The food was to die for. The Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and scallops was the best I've ever had. The price was a bit steep, but well worth it.

Will never go back...period! I was the only customer in restaurant and they screwed up my pizza order. Said sorry and walked away! Wow...$14 for a screwed up 10 inch pizza...pretty bad service and overpriced pizza. I was a regular customer...but after many screw ups on my order...I won't be going back. The Owner needs to make all the screw... More

There are plenty of eateries near to the Carmel Mission Inn hotel. We highly recommend the Allegro Gourmet Pizzeria restaurant which is not just for Pizza although nothing wrong with Pizza! The staff were very friendly and the food lovely. Highly recommended.
