I'm local. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. I have been going here for years. I have my favorites... the Mediterranean Chicken salad is my number one. Not always on the menu, but I always get it when I ask for it anyway.

Allegro was just around the corner from our hotel. It was recommended by the hotel staff. We ordered the combination. The service was excellent. The food was to die for. The Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and scallops was the best I've ever had. The price was a bit steep, but well worth it.

There are plenty of eateries near to the Carmel Mission Inn hotel. We highly recommend the Allegro Gourmet Pizzeria restaurant which is not just for Pizza although nothing wrong with Pizza! The staff were very friendly and the food lovely. Highly recommended.
