Top of the line, but know what to expect

Food: awesome. Atmosphere: cute, cottage decor with the tight spaces to match. Service: excellent but they can get stretched when crowded. All in all a definite winner. If it's slow service will be almost too fast, if it's busy you'll need patience.

Seemed like a locals spot. We had good service. The Cobb Salad was good although light on blue cheese. The Philly Steal was tasty. We had a good experience until I used the ladies room. It was disgusting. No hot water but it did have soap. Would not go back.

Fantastic service and delicious food. Good for family - my ten and four year olds enjoyed. The place could use an update, but I guess that's part of the charm.

We have had breakfast at Cottage Restaurant and found it ample and tasty. A little pricey but a fun place to eat once in a while. We enjoy the charm of the Tuck Box more and it, too, is a bit pricey.

This town and restaurant for breakfast was adorable!! Cute little fireplace you can sit infront if or people watch out the front bay windows! I had the eggs Benedict which had some kind of a twist in their hollandaise that I couldn't put my finger on but it was goooood!! I saw a lot if people ordering the huevos rancheros... More

My wife and I took two friends who were visiting us in Carmel out to breakfast yesterday. We chose the Cottage Restaurant because we had not eaten there in many years, and wanted to try something different. Plus the reviews on-line were great. We were not disappointed. The breakfast was excellent -- both hearty and delicious. The prices were also... More

Was looking for a place for a nice breakfast and found this one. At 8:30 AM on a Saturday in January the place was almost deserted so we weren't sure what to expect. Luckily, we were thrilled with the result. I chose an omelet with toast and hash browns - fantastic! My friend got the breakfast with Kathy cakes, eggs,... More

First the staff is wonderful..so smiley and they take GREAT care of you. Food is good too...the little side salad that comes with the sandwich is one of the best ceasars on the peninsula. And it's cosy ambiance is wonderful rain or shine.

Leisurely Saturday brunch in this adorable little restaurant. Lunch menu looked appetising but opted for breakfast of eggs, pancakes bacon and baby bangers, really tasty little sausages! Good coffee, fresh juice, local newspaper, friendly service, lovely town. Top marks!
