A small group of us dined here at Lugano recently, what a lovely atmosphere! The staff was excellent, as well as the food! We will definitely be back in the near future, such a fun place for a birthday celebration!

What a fun restaurant and such an unexpected find in a shopping complex. Carmel has many unique places to dine, but few feel an authentically European as Lugano's Swiss Bistro. Fantastic German food. The Bratwurst was the best I've ever eaten and the décor in the bistro is charming and cozy. If you enjoy trying something adventurous and different from... More

While en route south on Hwy. 1 we decided to stop for lunch in Carmel, right off Hwy. 1 and located in The Barnyard. What a treat. Before our food arrived it was so interesting to sit in this restaurant and admire the surroundings. All of the collectibles that decorated the wooden pine walls added a very European atmosphere. Our... More

I came here with my mom & a few friends on a Thursday night. The food was delicious & the live music was even better. We ordered a few plates of the bratwurst & cabbage... incredible! The service was spot on and we couldn't have had a nicer evening. Thank you Lugano for a wonderful dinner!

We celebrated a college graduation here with 15 guests in the back room with the mural of Lugano Switzerland. From our long distance booking to the one gluten free meal we needed, Ricardo (mgr) took care of everything for us. Our graduate had lived in Lugano and since not many family members visited there it was a treat to share... More

Me and my wife had a wonderful time a Luganos. We had the full Fondue meal for two and wow it was amazing. Appetizers in cheese fondue. The apples in cheese fondue were amazing as was the bread. The main course was beef and chicken cooked in a wonderful oil, and then dessert fondue in chocolate (strawberries, marshmellows etc). Oh... More

We ordered the original cheese fondue for one(PRICED $19.95) and 2 salads. I only wanted salad, My wife had the other one and the fondue. I ended up having a few dunks in her fondue of a carrot from my salad. When we got the bill we were charged double for the fondue, EXPLANATION WAS I DUNKED IN IT. I... More

The sausage plate was excellent. It came with Sauerkraut & Spatzels. The atmosphere was delightful & reminded me of European restaurants I used to dine at in the Midwestern US.

Primarily went there to see the ginger bread village which by itself made it worth the trip. Decided to have the 4 course fondue sampler. It is a little expensive for what you get but was quite enjoyable. The place is a little over the top with the Swiss decor and even more so during the Christmas season. But if... More

Everytime I go to Carmel, I eat here. The best fondue I have had and I have been to Switzerland... The four course fondue is pricey but a must.
