We were living the good life while on our Honeymoon in Carmel, and one night we decided to try this quaint little restaurant in town. We ended up being the only people there that early evening, and we were able to have a quiet, romantic dinner for two in a little Italian restaurant. The lighting was romantic, the view outside... After passing by many busy restaurants too crowded for a quick bite, I settled here. The place was empty for a Friday night, should have been a clue. The pasta was very dry, hardly any sauce coating, bread was bland. There is a lot of room for improvement to be made here. I hope the owner sees this as constructive... More

We have been coming to Carmel for 15 years during Pebble Beach Concours Week and never visited this restaurant even though it is right around the corner from our B&B. The owner and staff were so wonderful and appreciative. When most restaurants in Carmel (especially during Concourse week) are booked or terribly long waits, it was a pleasure ti be... More

Fabulous affordable meal! Had the salmon, on the menu, done to perfection. Would definitely go back again.

We happened across this place by accident-their sign for fried artichokes and our yearning for a fresh pizza lured us in. Both were delicious!! Warm bread, nice cold water... Overall, it was a great find and reasonable.

We wanted pizza so I looked at a few places & decided on La Dolce Vita. We walked in and it was empty. Oh well, it's only 6 PM. A little early for California people! We ordered their meat pizza. The crust was thin & crispy, savory sauce & fresh toppings! I would definitely go back. They have been in... More

I can't review the food because we left without ordering. I should have know there was a problem when I called for a reservation and they answered "Hello?" We walked into a completely empty restaurant. I think we woke them up. No liquor license. They have some kind of beer of wine based fake Vodka & Tequila. The wine list... More

The pizza was very good, prices are reasonable for the area. A very good dining experience. The calamari appetizer was great.
