Listen people, La Dolce Vita in Carmel is delicious, we have a second home in Carmel and one of the deciding factors was this restaurant HOMEMADE pasta, just the best sauces and a truly intimate, romantic atmosphere. We love La Dolce Vita. We have been going there for years and just went back last Saturday. The three of us had a table outside; it was a wonderful night. We stumbled across this place when looking for somewhere to eat in Carmel. Pasta Carbonara was not very tasty - should have been better for an italian restaurant. Our experience in this restaruant was well below average. I visited the restrooms before eating, and they were filthy. It was early evening and we were probably the first customers in that night.
