We live about 50 miles from Carmel, and whenever we take a drive down there, we stop at EmLe's. Their dinner special, served 7 nights a week, even holidays, is a fantastic bargain. Go for the $9.95 early bird specials from 4:30 - 7:00pm. They include great seafood, osso bucco, prime rib, pastas, and a host of other treats. Get the chocolate cake! We have eaten at Em Le's several times over the past few years. They have an excellent early bird dinner for $9.95. The selections included prime rib, sand dabs, lamb, etc. It was very good.
