Whether its breakfast, lunch or dinner Village Corner never fails to satisy. They have a great variety of meals to select from and everything I have ever gotten has been good. Must recommend their Paella, not sure if its always on the menu or may have been a special but it was excellent.

The wait staff acted as if they were bothered by our presence, table rocked terribly; was hard to get anyone interested in correcting it. Bus person finally did. Threw the bread on table. Waiter took order was not interested in answering any questions. Flung food onto table. Food was at least edible.

Central Carmel Village, at 6th and Dolores. 831-624-3588'' Seating Indoors? Or Out? On a balmy day in Carmel none of those trivialities matter. Consider yourself lucky to sit anywhere at this VERY popular place. Get there early.

First time their. We walked by thes place a couple of times while touring Carmel and the place was poppin with customers. They have outside dinning as well and the Reuben and San Dab salad were to die for. Our waiter, Hugo was Great and will ask for him next time.

We had a table in the patio for Thursday lunch. Efficient, friendly service. Tasty food. A lively, relaxed atmosphere. Would return.

I've written in a previous review on the importance of salads. Salads can be deceptively tricky. And, there's no trickier a raw vegetable than the tomato. I ordered the salade niciose, which included a couple of tomato wedges. Unfortunately, they had been stored for too long in the fridge; the consequence was disastrous for the salad. To add to the... We're locals and my husband and I usually have a weekly lunch 'date'. We had a 15% off coupon for Village Corner so we headed on over after picking up our mail at the post office. Village Corner has a welcoming patio with a central fire pit. It's always popular and crowded. This time we decided to sit inside with... More

Sat out on a great little patio at this quiet, unassuming place, and had a tremendous lunch of very fresh, flavorful Mexican food (they have lots of other goodies on the menu). My wife enjoyed watching the hummingbirds flitting around while we ate!

I had a Club Sandwich with salad (good thick bacon!); and my wife had a Prawn Caesar salad. With drinks, the total came to $32, which is a great value in Carmel. The food is still tasty and the service is still gracious and inviting. The patio now had a cover for all weather (although we're in a drought this... More

We love eating here by the fire. I am a vegetarian and our knowledgable waiter made sure that I was well catered for. A really good restaurant
