We hail from Las Vegas - been there done that on the ambience, gourmet food and checks that make us choke. We find overpriced food irritating and silly. In Carmel, we looked at all the menus on display, and we ate at the expensive restaurants. We also ended up right back where we started - the Village Corner. The food... More

A great breakfast with local friends left us smiling at the size of the poodles and the number in attendance. Surprisingly quiet and well mannered only distracted us because they were so well groomed and quiet. We enjoyed both the meal and the atmosphere and would highly recommend the Village Corner

We were there for our Anniversery , and we had our pet with us! They were so nice to accommodate from the minute we walked up to the place. They were even nice to our pet! It was an evening to remember. I would recommend to anyone!

Enjoyed a basic lunch. Nothing particularly outstanding but pleasant patio seating area with fire. Staff efficient.

When we're in Carmel we always end up here, and we've never been disappointed. The breakfast and lunch is especially good, and the best place to eat is the outdoor patio with the fire pit in the middle of it. If it's cool (and it often is in Carmel), next to the fire pit is the greatest place to be.... More

We rolled in after a very long day driving down from the North. This was close to our hotel so we decided to give it a shot. We walked in just after 5pm-ish and were the only ones in the place. We took a place out on the patio and ordered a glass of wine. I can't say enough about... More

we recently had brunch here, sat outside by the fire won a foggy September day. The service was great, nice wines, nice selection. My husband had a really delicious crab ravioli; I had a salad nicoise, which was ok, but not really nicoise (potatoes that looked like they were re-purposed home fries, not really a nicoise dressing, fish of the... I love the patio as it is dog-friendly. The food is great and the staff is very knowledgeable. The stuffed artichoke is always on my list.

Went on the recommendation of a former resident and we're not disappointed. Had two great lunches and one dinner. Awesome food and service. Great value and nice wine list.
