We stopped in for lunch, and this place was packed!! We were seated in the patio area which was nice, although you have to dodge the occasional bird, and walk around the dogs--this town sure loves dogs. I had a BELT which is a BLT with sunnyside-up eggs incorporated which was fantastic.

Village Corner has been a lunch favorite since we first visited on a locals recommendation years ago. They have a very nice menu, with wine available and a great variety. The heated and sometimes covered patio is where we enjoy dining. Always a must visit for us in Carmel!

Great location downtown Carmel, with great food! There is a nice outdoor patio that is perfect for sunny days. Friendly staff with consistent service and food.

Came here for breakfast and had yummy mexican style omelettes with crispy potatoes and english muffins! Bizarre but tasty! The staff were lovely, my coffee was topped up throughout breakfast and the juice was fresh. The bistro itself was small but the outdoor area was lovely, under cover and heated. I'm sure the lunch and dinner menu's won't disappoint.

Hubby & I happened upon this place while walking around Carmel shopping. It was a lively little corner spot with a great outdoor area. We were seated on the patio by the fire pit, great spot - highly recommend. I had a bellini, which was great, for lunch I had the San Fransisco B.E.L.T (bacon, egg, lettuce, tomato) YUM!! Hubby... We had brunch there on a Sunday as many of the other restaurants were closed. Food is very greasy and not very tasty. Not a very clean place. They have an area where you can bring your dog with you while you dine. Would not go there again.

They have a covered, heated patio where dogs are allowed. We ate inside and had a surprisingly good meal. I had a salad with fresh ingredients, my husband had a pastrami sandwich that was delicious. The kids ordered from the kids' menu and the meals were large and much better quality than what you'd usually get. Our waitress was friendly... More

The average rating shouldn't be seen as a negative. This is a perfectly fine restaurant for breakfast. The menu is varied. The service is friendly. The food was good. The patio is a nice place for people-watching. Our breakfast was served quickly and was good. I was a little surprised to see that breakfast for two was $48; but I... More

My friends and I had a wonderful late lunch at the Village Corner. The patio was cozy and was right on the street for great people-watching. One of our group is in a wheel-chair and the staff was very accommodating. We had the Bistro Burger, The Vegetarian Sandwich and the San Francisco Joe's Special and we shared the Steamed Castroville... More

The restaurant looks fancy, the service is first class but the prices are affordable. Located in the center of Carmel with a heated terrace that we´ve really enjoyed on a sunny day in late november. The meal and the latte were both high above the avarege we got in different cafes during our roadtrip in the states.
