Great menu

Very good food and overall great choice available. The variety is really wide from Italian pasta, to Mexican and French. But all the plates are revised and proposed in a modern way. Very nice restaurant in a cute location.

We had high hopes for this restaurant, as one of us had been here several times in the past. Unfortunately, we must have hit an off night for both service and food quality. There were eight of us for dinner (and it was a busy night for the restaurant admittedly), but three of us had to send back our dinner... More

I do not think any restaurant is cheap in Carmel, but there are coupons if you know where to look. The Village Corner offers coupons (after you have paid your bill) for several other restaurants and they do the same. So we started at the Village Corner and then went to the Merlot Bistro the next night and finally The... More

With no particular plans for any restaurant on a recent visit to Carmel, we came across Village Corner and it looked cosy with a nice outdoor patio seating. Since it was a nice day, we opted to sit outside by the fire for our lunch. ■ The fire pit in the center of the outdoor patio seating was pretty and... More

We were actually on our way to get some sandwiches for a picnic when we ran into this cute restaurant with an outdoor area. My wife suggested we have lunch here instead. Ordered a pasta with a peppered tuna salad and steamed artichoke. All were mediocre. Salad and artichoke were tasteless...the pasta way overlooked. The only person enjoyed it was... More

Friendly and fast - good food - breakfast is all we've ever eaten there. We have been there twice on our vacations. We meet friends there. Really nice patio area with fireplace and outside heaters. I really like it - and it's in an awesome area to go for a walk in town.

The fireplace, the food and wine: Perfection! Tourists and locals enjoying the weather and sitting outside was definitely the popular place to be, plus if you enjoy people watching: bonus!

I've been dining at this restaurant for the last 20 yrs! I've come here for romantic weekends, a family dinners with small quiet children, and weekends with girlfriends. The food is always fresh and delightful, the alfresco dining (better than indoors) by the large fireplace decidedly romantic. Most of the staff are long-term, experienced and attentive. A visit to Carmel... More

Cool outdoor seating and great service. Lunch was the best I've eaten in the Carmel area. Parking and bathrooms are a little scarce, but don't let than scare you away. This place is worth the effort

Attractive, centrally located, right on a corner for great people watching, the food is Wonderful. Outside - al fresco - dining is the best, even on a foggy day as the restaurant has outdoor heaters.
