Menu full of options. I tried the lam and it was not the best I ever had, but my friends and I enjoyed dinner a lot. I recommend you to try.

Judy and I hadn't been back to the Rio Grill in a few years, but went there earlier this month to try their new brunch menu. It's worth a trip! We received excellent service, and the food quite literally could not have been better, especially the crab benedict (which was perfect from the first taste to the last). At $19,... More

We had a dinner reservation in town and the power went out a few minutes after we were seated..... and it stayed out. Some friends were meeting us for dinner and they suggested we hop in their car and go to the Rio Grill. They had eaten there before and enjoyed it. So away we went. The area beyond Highway... More

We called in near Christmas time when works parties etc seemed to be in full flow, we hadn't had time to make a reservation but the staff were so helpful in trying to find us a seat even though they were clearly very busy! The steak I had was delicious and the servings you got were generous indeed. The bartender... More

Wonderful friendly staff. Great place to have a leisurely time, drinks, wine, conversation, great food, and attentive service. The menu is extensive and the food is great. Wine selection includes lots of local Monterey County wines.

The Rio Grill always delivers great food and warm inviting atmosphere. The bar carries a fine selection of wine and spirits and the menu offers many fine selections. We've been going to the Rio Grill for many years, maybe 20 years, and we've never been disappointed with the food or service.

We live in the area and this restaurant is one of our 'go to's' when entertaining house guests....always consistently delicious with good service (even when it gets busy). I love the crab cakes and slightly spicy sauce. The roasted chicken (and red potatoes) is always a winner. Very nice wine selections too. Plenty of nearby and free parking....something that is... Rio grill is reliable, decent food, friendly service. We love the artichoke, best in Monterey, CA! However, sometimes the artichoke is under cooked or burnt but if it comes out like it should- it is fantastic. The Specials are interesting and worth considering. Their salmon dinner selection is a favorite of ours and they serve a delicious hamburger. Rio Grill... More
