Great French toast with strawberries and bananas, super crisp bacon on the side, mediocre coffee… $32.00 for one person (including 4.00 tip). It is kind of like doing that thing you "just have to do at least once", skydiving, tasting a rare and odd culinary delicacy, an epic journey - only this time it did not result in bubbly satisfaction.... I ate at Katy's recently and was disappointed. I ordered the Classic Eggs Benedict. It was quite good. However, the hollandaise sauce was on the bland side. It was missing the tang that it's known for. With tax, it came to $18.50. I realize Carmel is pricey, but this was not worth the cost. I agree with others, that it's... More

Great breakfast, way too much food. Most everything is with 3 eggs. Not complaining, everybody's breakfast was cooked perfectly. Coffee was abundant and refreshed frequently. Note they don't take credit cards. Better have some cash, our bill was $80 before tip for 4 people. Would definitely eat there again.

Disliked: They only take CASH! What a pain this was. Traveling with cash is inconvenient for me. They serve only brewed, watery coffee. I prefer espresso drink options. Seemed expensive for a breakfast place. Asked for steamed spinach and it came mushy and overcooked. Like: Huge portions if you are able to split with someone. Fresh squeezed orange juice was... More

Perfect in every way in terms of service and food. Outside is nice but most are benches with no backs. Inside can be a little tight seating wise but when we were there it was ok. Cash only.

Does the Fire Marshall know how packed this place is? And the waiting line was passed due to a knowledgeable member of our party who made reservations. Breakfast ranks as one of the best we've ever had, service did well considering how 'pressed' everyone was. Make reservations and if breakfast is the meal of choice, schedule it as early as... More

It is a very good restaurant. The King of Jordan stopped here for pancakes! If it is good enough for him, same for us? Arrived around 9am and all the outside tables were filled. We ate inside and split a Lobster, Crab & Shrimp Omelet. It was more than enough for us two old Seniors and was PACKED with seafood.... More

The place is very charming and you can have breakfast outside, if you will. There are so many options that it is impossible not to find something you like on the menu! :) The benedict eggs (in any menu option) come perfectly cooked and it is absolutely delicious!

Had breakfast here early on a Monday morning; we were the only ones in the restaurant for a while. Extensive menu, pretty much everything you could possibly want for breakfast. Everything was very good.

Breakfast is big and delicious. Specialty is eggs Benedict's. Many kinds. Beware- no credit cards. Great corned beef hash as well. Get there early- as you can wait a while. Enjoy.
