Although Katy's place is famous for their Eggs Benedict, which my hubby thought was the best he'd ever had, I LOVED the French toast with fruit. Absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back the next time we're in Carmel.

The food was excellent and the omelets were the best ever. This restaurant has been here for years and a popular place for the locals. Lots of outdoor seating if weather permits.

Went here for breakfast, sat on the patio, which can be a little bit tight. Service was very friendly and fast. Food was really good, fresh and more than I could eat. Coffee was priced high though. Would come back any time.

The food was great. The staff all nice. The ambiance fun. The server made special acomadation for my diabetic needs, with no hassle at all and all in all, it was a great brunch experience. Be prepared to wait a bit for a table. We opted to eat inside as it was December, and we were a bit tired of... More

We were wandering Carmel and reading the tourist book for dog friendly places. Katy's stated in the book via the red paw insignia that they were dog friendly./ However when arriving there we were told that only dogs of less than twenty pounds were allowed and that the establishment was "cash only". Our dog is a complete sweetheart and lies... More

Excellent food! sometimes there is a wait but worth it. Portions are large so you my want to share. For example: The choices of Eggs Benedicts are 3 eggs. Pancakes are light and fluffy but huge in size.

Best breakfast and servings are easy to come by in Carmel California but I think Katy's is the best. Always great portions and good value for your money. They are busy and well worth the wait! The breakfast selections are varied and definitely will be on your top list's for food.

Hearty portions, flavorful food that will take you through the day. Perfect way to begin your jaunt in and around charming Carmel. Lots of hustle and bustle but that adds to the overall experience. Arrive hungry …

I don't know why we gave this place another go this year after the disappointment of last year. The service was slow and the breakfast food cold. It was given such a high recommendation we thought we caught it on a off day last year but it was the same this time around.
