This is my kind of place. It offers all varieties of breakfasts and those delivered to our table of four all appeared to be tempting and delicious. We dined outdoors. It was little tight. Our waiter was fun and yet courteous and efficient. The consensus of our group was that the meals couldn't have been better. When I stepped indoors... More

We were looking for a lunch stop and found Katy's Place. Beautiful day to sit outside. Lunch was burger and 1/2 cup lobster bisque with club sandwich. Both were excellent. Cash only not very visible as just walking in. Would love to go back and have breakfast.

This place could be easily missed if you are not careful. It almost looks like an old house mixed in with the rest of the village. This place is awesome and you know it not because of what I have to say about it, but because it was full of locals. If this is where the locals that live in... More

I've eaten here before but couldn't tell you if I had eggs, pancakes or what. I just remember it was excellent, so. I went back this trip with my husband. We went at lunchtime, and it wasn't crowded. We chose to sit inside because it was a little chilly, but the outside deck is really nice when you're dressed for... More

Locals would agree that this is the best place for breakfast. Great service - fast and the food comes piping hot. I even burnt my tongue on the scrambled eggs! When has that ever happened to you??!! Sourdough toast to die for. Endless coffee and a huge menu with all sorts of specials too. Cheesy décor, but that just fits... More

The quaint local haunt has an amazing breakfast menu, huge portions and friendly service. Even with a small patio deck in front and seating inside you may find yourself having to wait a few minutes for a table - but its worth it. Dogs are allowed (they do ask if your dog is a service animal - like they do... More

Fantastic menu and food, lots of options, large proportions, can easily spilt a meal if a modest eater or watching calories . We love sitting on the deck when the weather is sunny. Wait time is spot on as communicated. Very popular with locals and tourists.

Katy's Place came recommended to me prior to our visit to Carmel, so this was a must for breakfast. I'm SOOO glad we chose to eat here. The menu has so much to choose from. I had the Egg's Benedict and my husband had Katy's Combo. Best Egg's Benedict I've ever had! I couldn't finish them. The atmosphere reminds me... More

We went midweek so got right in. Service was excellent and the food was very good. Many options to choose from so everyone can find something to try. Be aware that for breakfast this place is a bit expensive (well maybe not for Carmel) and they only take cash.

They don't take reservation. It's first come first serve. We went there a little after 11 on Sunday, and the place was packed. Based on the waiting list, I thought we (party of 2) would need to wait for more than 30 minutes, but it moved pretty fast. We got seated in about 15 minutes. We ordered the dungeness crab... More
