Good food, good service

Since it was raining there was no service outside, so we dined inside. The restaurant appears small, crowded, even though there weren't that many people. I found their Reuban eggroll intriguing and delicious. I think if the weather permitted, dining outside would have added to their ambiance.

The place has an open area, perfect for the sunny days or warm nights (as warm nights are very rare there, they also have gas heaters to make your meal more pleasant). The restaurant is decorated with very rustic and antique furniture such as wooden tables, fireplaces and iron lamps. The food was perfect and I’ve tried a little bit... More

We dined here as guests at our friends' anniversary celebration. The evening started with passed hors d'oeuvres. I tried the caprese salad skewers and deep-fried risotto balls. Both were very good. There was also mahi, shrimp and crab choices, but I didn't try them. We had a choice of chicken or beef with the meal. My husband had the chicken... More

Awesome menu and drinks, and the heaters outside made it a wonderful outside dining experience even in January!

Most of the seating at the Forge is in the outdoor patio area which on a dark and fairly fresh January evening was subtly lit and heated. Super cosy ambience. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The food (mainly American/Italian fusion) is delicious. There is a formidable range of wines and draft and bottled beers. Probably not the cheapest... The location and the atmosphere inside the restaurant are the highpoints of this place. Very small, super cozy - fireplace, rustic. Ordered the sliders - wanted them well done, they arrived raw in the middle. Didn't bother to send them back because I was enjoying the atmosphere so much. I just ate around the perimeter of the burgers where they... More

You feel like you are in an outdoor garden here with little 'cut-away- areas for seating. There are fire pits you can sit around too. We have sat here in the drizzle, in the cold, heat and just about any other climate...okay not snow or heavy rain. The lunches are good and hearty. Full bar with good drinks. My husband... More

This is the fifth time we've eaten at Forge in the Forest Restaurant. And again, it was not a disappointment. We showed up for dinner with our two dogs and were seated outside under a heat lamp. The weather was cold and rainy but it didn't make a difference because the tables were covered and the heat lamps kept us... More

Bartender was excellent, we had to wait a bit for a table and she kept us entertained. Patio was lots of fun and food excellent. Would definitely go back if I'm in the area again.
