Had a blast at the ranch restaurant! Wine pours are generous portions are big and service is laid back but attentive. Not fine dining but a fun spot to hear karaoke piano and eat some comfort food. The apps we ordered (artichoke and crab cakes) were OK. But both were served with the same bland Chipotle mayo. Universal dip alert!... More

Mission Ranch has a warm, friendly atmosphere that is only surpassed by the quality of the food and efficiency of its staff. There is a warn, rustic glow that permeates the ranches old building which makes it a wonderful location for a romantic interlude.

The food quality was very poor but the entertainment and general atmosphere were fun plus we got to see Clint!

We went for the buffet on Sunday at 11 AM. Music was awesome at the piano bar, the food was to "die for" and the selection was very impressive. We did not see Clint Eastwood (bummer), but the experience was wonderful and worth the costs. We stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and are glad we came back for... More

They don't take reservations, and we were there right at 5pm when they opened, but still had to wait about 20 min. Why? Because the bar opens at 4pm and the patrons put their name in before us....ah, good to know next time. Yet we were still seated by a window and it was gorgeous - the view! And the... More

The whole setting is just picture perfect, green pastures filled with sheep grazing and just beyond crashing waves on the rocky shoreline. I'd recommend getting there as close to opening time as possible (4PM), pulling up a chair on the patio and ordering a few drinks. The scenery really is a must see in this area! The restaurant opens at... More

We ate at the restaurant and it was fabulous! Be sure to arrive around sunset and enjoy a drink on the outdoor patio before dinner. You can eat outside or inside. We wanted to enjoy the live piano music with dinner so we ate inside. We were told that sometimes, Clint Eastwood (the owner, by the way) makes an appearance... More

Magnificent setting. The food was very good (not great), if somewhat uninspired. Very busy, particularly at the early sunset seating, with a decidedly older crowd. Definitely worth a visit.

We've always enjoyed our meals at Mission Ranch. Owned by Clint Eastwood it's also an inn. Nice bar area with good drinks and live piano music. The peaceful setting looking out towards Carmel River and the meadow full of sheep is relaxing any time of day. Evenings they serve a "special" and the patio area seems to be a popular... More

There are two kind of restaurant in this town my friend. Those with a reputation and those without and this joint certainly had some high expectations to live up to. It was dark when Blondie and I rode into this shady ranch on the outskirts of town on our trusty Mustang clutching a fistfull of dollars. It was busy with... More
