Enjoyed a wonderful dinner here. Servers all friendly and made you feel at home. Heaters outside made it possible to enjoy the beautiful view...from sheep to crashing ocean waves afar and even deer jumping fences, grilled artichoke and crab cakes very good. halibut was fish special and delicious . generous servings. No reservations, but did not wait long for table.... More

Ate at the best table in the restaurant next to the fireplace during Easter Brunch by the windows with sheep outside in the paddock & ocean in the distance. An idealic environment! The brunch was same as usual Sunday, just ramped up a bit & really good. Nice location with historic buildings & it's own little resort. Very civilized, even... More

Just had another great evening at Mission Ranch. So glad to say that Mr. Eastwood still manages to give great value for a reasonable price. Started with a cocktail while having a short wait for a table. Our drinks were generous and a definite bargain compared to other places in the Bay Area and elsewhere. Our server was very efficient... Great view, great service, and outstanding food! It was recommended to us by hotel staff three years ago and we eat here every time that we are in Carmel. It's perfect for a special occasion. You know that it's a quality restaurant when locals choose it.

We had a very nice dinner with excellent service. Many of the locals said that Clint Eastwood had recently been there, but unfortunately we did not see him. I can say that I know why he would want to visit. The fireplace was provided just the romantic edge to warm the evening chill and the dinner was excellently presented. The... More

Go for happy hour, stay for the sunset. Watch the sheep graze in the meadow. Local hang out. OK for dinner too.

I have to start with NO ONE that worked there was rude to us!! We had exact opposite. I am 8 months pregnant and everyone was asking about our baby and if they could get me "anything" just let them know. I was excited when we got to eat inside because it was chilly out that night. There really isn't... More

We enjoyed drinks in the bar area for about an hour awaiting a table for dinner. We were then seated at a lovely table by the window. I ordered the prime rib (a veritable SLAB of deliciously tender meat!) & shared my meal with my niece who had ordered the scallops served over spinach & polenta. Both dishes were amazing!... More

We got there around 5:30, and the place was nearly packed. We sat outside on the patio area, so we were only able to order from the "Bar menu", not the dinner/restaurant menu. I had the grilled chicken breast sandwich ($15), and my friend had the hamburger. Both were delicious. The view was spectacular. Word of warning, though, if you're... More
