We stopped here for lunch yesterday after a beautiful morning spent at Point Lobos admiring the great scenery and walking the trails. We got a table by the window with the most breathtaking view of the Pacific and the coastline. The crab cake sliders we're delish! An added bonus for my husband was that they had GF rolls, so he... We went to this restaurant, for lunch, on the recommendation of the proprietor at the B&B we were staying at in Carmel. The day was beautiful and it was warm for December 23rd (72 degrees) so we sat outside. I had a salad and a Bloody Mary and my wife had a burger and wine. The food was excellent and... More

We went for Sunday brunch with with local residents and were so impressed. We sat outside and watched the migration of whales. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The wait staff was very attentive. However, the view is just wonderful and hard to find anywhere else. We were there at opening and had our choice of tables. As we... More

My family enjoyed Christmas dinner here. Used OpenTable to make the reservations. Recommend the Boston Clam Chowder, very flavorful without being too spicy, and the crab cake, on a bed of diced tropical fruit, for appetizers. Loved the Tempura Jumbo Prawns with a side of crispy string fries for an entree.Staff were very friendly and the service fast. The place... More

What a relaxing way to spend a Sunday afternoon. 4 of us enjoyed every moment, we were shown the brunch menu. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. Appetizers were good, loved the cheese plate. They have Anchor Steam on tap if your a fan. Cioppino is listed as being spicy hot, my wife asked if they do it not... More

The restaurant is nice, right on the cliff overlooking the Big Sur coast. The food is average restaurant fare, far from gourmet. A nice spot for lunch if you're not expecting exceptional food. The staff is efficient and pleasant.

Hey Locals.....Under new ownership/management/chef. The views are spectacular...inside/outside. Now they have a new patio with firepit tables...perfect for before or after dinner cocktails. The food has made a huge change. Really good now. This has been a hidden gem for years. If your driving down the coast from Carmel/Monterey to Big Sur, or visa-versa, stop here. I PROMISE YOU, you... We were traveling along the Pacific Coast Highway and saw this restaurant. It was lunch time so it was the perfect time to stop. We were seated outside on a beautiful clear day. The view is absolutely amazing. We were all in awe of the beautiful blue ocean and rocks! Our meal came quickly, and the presentation looked amazing. I... More

It would be nice to visit this restaurant during the day when the views would be amazing and the menu is more reasonable. I had the Ahi, which I sent back once because it was completely cooked through (a cardinal sin). The second round was better but still a little over cooked and not that good for the price. Another... Other reviewers have it right. The setting is so spectacular you don't mind spending a few extra dollars per person (that's right - about $10-$20 a couple) for your meal. Where else can you eat along the Big Sur coast and not stop smiling over the view and setting. Food was also excellent but you come for the setting and... More
