Forget your budget when you dine here. Food is excellent & the service outstanding. Prices are through the roof so be prepared. The view especially at night is worth it BIG TIME. I lived on the Peninsula for 30 years & ate here 2 or 3 times a month. People are super great but you'll only see their dedication to... more

This is a place to go, have a drink, get some soup and cheese bread and call it a day... As a local I've come to appreciate the view (especially when the whales are migrating), but the food has always been just fair... Another review said "high end"... Maybe the prices are high, but its not an upscale or "foodie"... more

GPS almost kept us from a nice meal at a beautifully located restaurant overlooking the ocean. It was 10 miles further then where GPS directs you but it was well worth the continued travel. While the food is on the high end, the amount you get for the price is very adequate including the largest potatoe we've ever eaten:-) We... more

We stopped at the Rocky Point on the recommendation of a friend who had been there years ago. Yes, the view was amazing. However, the food was incredibly expensive and completely not worth it. The surf for two plate was $95.00 and was absolutely tasteless and served with an iceberg lettuce salad and the a baked potato topped with a... more

From the time we entered, appeared you were entering a diner not a dinner house. The salad had wilted lettuca and coated in dressing. The chowder was acceptable. I had the seafood pasta and my wife had the fresh fish special. My pasta had no flavor and the calamari was "a sponge". The fresh fish was lightly breaded and again... more

We celebrated an Anniversary here at one of our very favorite breakfast spots not long ago. The food was excellent as was the service. It happened to be a rather foggy day but inside the atmosphere was so warm and sunny that we hardly noticed the fog. It was a beautiful beginning of this very special day! more

We recently dined at Rocky Point for my father-in-laws 90th birthday. Of course the view was spectacular! Our waitress was extremely attentive and anticipated everything we needed before we did.Everything was served in a timely manner,no feeling of being rushed. Our steaks were cooked to perfection,as we had all ordered various temperatures and specifications which were all met..We had a wonderful... more

I wish I would have read the reviews before stopping in. The host was nice. The view was quite nice.....but dear god...the service was amazingly bad. When a waiter is in the weeds, there should at least be some back up or a manager to assist! The busser was ontop of his tables and that was about it! Food arrived... more

We had a family dinner to celebrate birthdays. We had the best table in the house for a party of 6. We were greeted at the door. Service was good. The servers were attentive. The menu selection is plentiful. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. I just loved my lobster tail........cooked perfectly. Wonderful view of the Pacific Ocean. We... more
