Rocky Point has been a favorite of ours for years. It is now under the direction of a new owner and it is better than ever. The whole restaurant has been renovated, the best being the addition of new outdoor seating. If you are looking for a great place to enjoy quality food and service, that offers wonderful ocean side... More

Went for our annual whale watch for lunch, late January.Got there, with reservation, at 11:30 and picked out our perfect outdoor seatof this astounding view.Three of us shared a yummy Mediterranean appetizer with hummus, olives, giant capers, interesting peppers, huge Italian beans and some carrots. With a side of pita this was plenty for apps.Lunch included a very beautiful and generous... My wife and I found the totally renovated Rocky Point restaurant to be one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Exquisite meals, California's best wines and a view like none you have ever seen. It is like dining in the middle of a national park on the sunny California coast. Located at the north end of California's... More

Lived in Pebble Beach since 2000 and we have driven by Rocky Point many times. However, first time stopping today (Jan 17, 2015) while taking dogs for drive down towards Big Sur. Absolutely loved the experience. Pet friendly patio seating of which they provided water dish for the dogs and brought a hot dog off the kids menu. While we... More

My wife and I stopped in for lunch by accident while driving down PCH and we are very glad that we did! The food was well prepared and delicious, the service excellent and the view spectacular! Would definitely consider going back next time we are in that part of CA!

This restaurant was recommended to us for the view if not especially for the food however we did eat there as traffic going in the other direction was backed up for miles. While the food was nothing to write home about it was certainly good and adequate and the view was in fact stunning. Given the location I think it... More

Perched up high by the coast you get a wonderful view of the Pacific ocean. What makes it more memorable is the tasty food that matched the setting. I had the swordfish which was delicious.

It is an obligatory stop on the trip across the west coast of USA. The restaurant is located almost over the sea, with a unimaginable view of the vast sea, the rocks, the Creek and the nature. The service is amazing and the food excelent. I ordered a Clam Chowder soup and I loved it.

This restaurant was very close to where we stayed near Big Sur - it's easy to miss given it's location on the highway so you'll need to watch carefully. Overall, very very pleasantly surprised. The day we visited it was beautiful and warm for the end of November so we sat outside on the balcony. Was really pleasantly surprised how... More
