With their location overlooking the Bixby bridge and a beautiful cove, the scenery is second to none. We were there in the late afternoon and saw flights of Pelicans swoosh by and whale spouts too. The food was pretty good. Just a little pricey for the portions but we left full and happy. The waitress service was excellent, and she... More

We only had drinks but the view is fabulous and we'll worth stopping for a few minutes, even if not eating. Service was great!

My husband and I chose this beautiful newly refurbished restaurant for our wedding anniversary lunch. We were not disappointed. The ocean view is the best on the coast and the food is outstanding. All ingredients are locally sourced, totally fresh and bursting with flavor. Service is attentive and gracious. We are locals and are grateful to the new owners for... More

My husband and I really wanted to eat somewhere right along the coast. We were told about the Rocky Point Restaurant by a local. Drove out which it is a beautiful drive to the restaurant. We were sat right away outside so we could watch the ocean, but got no service. We wanted a drink and an appetizer and got... More

Had an excellent lunch at the beautiful Rocky Point Restaurant. The food was super fresh, tasty & the menu has many great choices, lovely salads & entrees, the berry crisp dessert & chocolate mousse most delicious. The prices are moderate considering the stunning view. The service was very adequate. If you remember the old Rocky Pt, you will be nicely... More

If you are visiting the Carmel, CA area, make sure you go to the Rocky Point Restaurant! This historic property, perched on beautiful rocks overlooking the Pacific Ocean, has recently been refurbished by new owners. Drinks to dessert, the food is impressive. Oysters are fresh daily, served with a raspberry/onion vinegar..fantastic!. The herbed tomato basil soup (no cream...yeah for the... More

This place is the only place in the planet with this view. You have to stop there and get a bite, a cold beer, or glass of wine. I had the seared tuna plate with a delicious potato salad. It was delicious, toped off with an incredible view. You can not go wrong by stopping here.

Usually the service at restaurants with views is the reverse of the excellent views. Not so here. The service was very good, the menu was good and the wine list, better than expected.

Had a late lunch on a beautiful afternoon. Our waiter was terrific and the food, especially the crab sliders, excellent. A wonderful place to linger over a bottle of wine and enjoy the wine in a much less crowded atmosphere than nearby Nepenthe ( which, I hasten to add, I also enjoy!)

It's still a beautiful property. The staff is outstanding too, very nice very caring too. I remember way back when all they served at Rocky Point was a huge piece of meat and a baked potatoe, well you could also get a salad. Thus was in the late 1970s. The view was the same. A picturesque setting for a Father's... More
