I stopped by the restaurant, primarily for the views, but was served a delicious cocktail. The renovation is beautiful. I will definitely be stopping by for dinner the next time I am in the area.

Totally outstanding vista of the coast. Crashing waves and whales too! The restaurant was recently refurbished and decorated with beautiful photos and accent pieces. Dining inside and out on the balcony is available - you can tell all employees are proud of what they do. Really nice and comfortable feeling. Our wait person was "Skip" he has been there for... For the past 50 years, on a few occasions, my husband and I have not only enjoyed Rocky Point for the over the top, spectacular scenery, but also for the best Baked Potato to be found ANYWHERE. You all know what I mean if you had ever been to Rocky Point. I can't tell you how dumbfounded I was when... More

My wife invited me to have birthday brunch at Rocky Point today, and it turned out to be one of the best meals I have ever had. The scenery outside was stunning and the food marvelous. I am most impressed by the freshness of the ingredients and friendliness of the serving staff. Their new crab slider is totally amazing, light... More

I had the wonderful good fortune to dine for the first time at this absolute jewel of a restaurant two days ago. It's truly world class in terms of its cuisine and unbelievably majestic, inspiring views of the Big Sur coast. I almost felt I was dreaming and in heaven! The dishes were extraordinarily delicious: I have never had such... More

Setting and view hard to beat. Great spot for wine and cheese or lunch. Also lighted cliff and water view at night but tough drive back to Carmel at night. Daytime drive beautiful. Don't find food anything special but view more than compensates. We never miss going when in Carmel and have been many times. Be sure to walk out... More

On a recent trip to visit family, in Carmel Valley, we decided to eat lunch at this fabulous restaurant. The view, service and excellent food was worth every penny we spent. Our waiter Gianni was friendly and professional, the menu very well rounded to meet the needs of every eater and the view...well, need I say more? It was a... More

Stumbled upon this restaurant while driving from Carmel to San Simeon during our California vacation - came up on our GPS and decided to stop as it was time for a food break. Incredible - so glad we did. We were there on a Sunday when they were serving a brunch menu and all the adults and teens were able... More

We recently took a party of eight here for dinner. As always, we planned an early dinner so that we could enjoy the magnificent view. We were given a perfect window table that was comfortable and great view. The staff was very courteous and knowledgeable about the menu and the location (since many of our guests were out-of-towners, they had... More

We went to dinner at Rocky Point for the view but it was very foggy and cold that day. The food however was great and very reasonably priced. Our server (Douglas) was very friendly and that was unique in our experience in this area. There is a trail that goes out to the edge of the rocks that is beautiful... More
