Excellent Meal, Even better view

Great Service, Beautiful View, Great food. I wish I would've discovered this gem earlier so I could've have eaten here a couple of times! Highly recommend! Ask for a table outside. Inside was a bit toasty on a beautiful sunny day.

The view from restaurant was stunning. There was a large pod of whales just in the distance, so having access to the restaurant's in-house binoculars was a nice surprise! Really, it's hard to take your eyes off the water while here. The restaurant is also far enough away from the crowds of Carmel, which I appreciated. I went in late... More

After staying the better part of the afternoon in Pfeiffer beach we found our selves starved. As we were driving up north on Hwy 1 we spotted the sign on top of the cliff and made a last decision to go in and check it out. First of all the place is gorgeous with a beautiful view of the ocean.... More

The place is well located along the coastal highway. When you enter the dinning room you will be astonished by the view of the clifs and breaking waves. The food was superv. Simply the best filet mignon I have ever had!

I have reviewed this restaurant before and they were doing a great job. I am a local and have been back 4 times since that review. Three times were mediocre, but I blamed my menu choices. This time, however, there is no excuse for the lack of attention in the kitchen (and the chef was present). The CLASSIC*CAESAR*SALAD / ROMAINE*HEARTS/WHITE*ANCHOVY... More

This place has a better view than any other place on the Big Sur coast, even better than Nepenthe! It is one of the closest places to Carmel as well so you don't have to drive too far down to get there. You won't be sorry!

Perfect spot, only drawback was we couldn't continue to sit and drink the nicely chilled Mirassou Chardonnay ($8) without worrying about driving those roads smashed. Great lunch, nice relaxed service, jaw-dropping view including spouting whales, no extra charge. Shrimp cocktail and crab sandwiches very good.
