I was so impressed with the atmosphere and friendliness of the place; I ended up going there twice over the weekend. I went with friends both times and we all enjoyed ourselves. The staff made sure we were seated quickly and the waitress was really on top of the service. For a great casual meal and good drinks, you can’t... More

Stopped in for the soup and sandwich combo. The portions were nice and filling and the restaurant had a nice interior with a cool atmosphere.

I had seen this place a few times and finally dropped in for lunch. Really nothing special, but will keep it in mind next time I am in town and looking for a quick, casual lunch.

I went here for lunch after the marathon, as I saw they were a Sponsor and wanted to show my thanks. The place was busy on a Sunday afternoon and overall I think the food and service was fine. Nothing stellar, but just fine to good. I ordered a veggie burger (granted, not seafood) and it was good.

Good spot for a light informal lunch on Ocean Ave. Bar table seating, good oysters and nice-enough chowder. Sandwiches and burgers looked really good if you after something more substantial.

We went for the famous bloody marys, which were good (not my fav drink, but good for a bloody mary), and we were impressed by the fast and courteous service, the interior, the t shirts for sale, the oysters on the half shell, and menu. The only thing I was not THRILLED with (although it was still very good) was... More

I love this place. The old school sloon style bar with a ton of single malts. Fresh fish n chips are wonderful also a fantastic clam chowder. The staff who works here is always friendly and fast! There can a wait as its small but, well worth it! Can't wait to get to Carmel and return. ENJOY!

We wanted to get a quick and light lunch while walking around Carmel. Stopped in Aw Shucks. We were seated quickly and our waitress was on top of things. My wife ordered the Oysters Rockefeller, I had a 1/2 dozed mixed raw oysters, three oyster/salsa shooters, and we shared a cup of their vegetarian chili. The Rockefeller were okay...nothing special,... More
