This is a lovely bistro on Ocean in the midst of the village action. HUGE sandwiches, enough to share with another person. Try the Mamma Mango Margarita--delicious!!! Very pleasant wait staff

Reasonable food, although terrible service. Slowest kitchen in the world, took more than 2 hours to serve the disses of the Menu of the Day. Other costumes left without even eating.

Good value fixed menu for lunch or dinner at $15.95 per person. Food disappointing - greasy, salad just lettuce leaves, service rushed and over-eager to clear empty plates. Great location but zero ambiance and no effort in food variety or presentation. Would prefer to pay more and get better meal

Went for a late dinner. The place wasn't particularly crowded but still had to wait for someone to take our order. Then waited over an hour for food, as did table next to us. No manager around, hostess seemed like deer in headlights, waiter no where to be seen. Never came back to check if we wanted more bread. Some... More

Not that much to say ... UnAdventurous menu and decor. Service not good. Forgot one starter (soup was the smallest portion I've ever seen) and had to ask for Parmesan twice. Surprising then that their suggested service charge starts at 18%! If I were to visit the town again, I would not return.

We went to Carmel just for the day and parked on the street to walk. It was Lunch time so we stopped here, as the restaurant looked nice and had mostly good reviews. Service was good, were recommended a good wine, but food was not what I expected. I ordered a mushroom pizza (no flavor at all though mushrooms were... More

We stopped in for coffee and dessert because it was one of the few cafés not overrun with people. Our visit was lovely with excellent service, hot coffee and yummy desserts. If it's not crowded, don't let that scare you. We would come back.

We were just strolling on Ocean past this restaurant after a long walk on Carmel beach. We just stopped to look at the menu and the charming waiter convinced us to come in and dine there. My wife had the coconut shrimp soup and the scallop salad with wilted spinach for main which were both delicious and I opted for... More

We had wandered by earlier in the day and it was one of the few restaurants that came out to tell us about dinner specials. So for dinner we wandered backed. We had the special of the day Paella, it was good, a few chili peppers and some parm and it was excellent!!! We also had sand dabs that were... More
