We had 30 people in our party and we showed up for breakfast on a Monday morning without giving the restaurant any heads up and guess what, they did absolutely amazing, it was downright fabulous!!! Food and service is top notch! I ordered the corned beef hash; and it was from scratch!. Thats right, made with real corned beef. Nothing from a can here. Eggs were also cooked perfectly! more

We are from Monterey and visit with out of town friends for first time in Now 07. (group of 5) The food was excellent . Friendly service and big servings. Prices was reasonable, because after this breakfast you are skipping lunch. The best part is you are getting fresh ingredients and made from scratch not like other breakfast chain rest. more

Value in Carmel? Yes, if you go where the locals like to go. Located in the obscure Barnyard Shopping Village, this is not a place that caters to tourists. I had the veggie frittata and my wife had an omelette. The portions weren't overly large, the orange juice was fresh-squeezed, and the the outside seating was nice. Coffee wasn't great, and service was friendly but slow. This is a good choice for breakfast. Nice location in "The Barnyard." more

Lunch on Dec 26, 2006. My tuna salad sandwich and my wife's bacon lettuce advocado and tomato sandwich were both excellent. The macaroni salad was alas, inedible, tasting rather like a desert with cheese. Nice ambience in a cute shopping area with multiple "barns" housing trendy shops. Enjoyed lunch here. Be careful though - I ordered the Frittata and it was mostly broccolli instead of a balance of veggies like the menu said. My husband loved the tuna melt - very fresh. Great bread too. :) You can tell the food is "from scratch." more
