Breakfast from Scratch

Accommodating at every turn. Crab omelet, sub fresh fruit, fresh biscuit, good cappuccino with coffee refills. What's not to like?

Another Triple D place that hits the high marks for breakfast food. Our table had the Veggie eggs benedict, steel cut oatmeal bowl with all the sides and the all american two eggs, toast and a large rasher of crisp bacon. All were excellent. All of us thought the place had a warm feel with a friendly staff that reminded... More

Breakfasts are the only meals that we have had but they are always good. Service can get a little slow on weekends when it is usually busy.

The first day, I had a typical eggs and toast breakfast, but every item was above the typical. Instead of hash browns, they offer a roasted red potato that is yummy. The second day, I ordered the granola pancakes, and wow, best pancakes ever!

This was yet another Diners, Drive-ins and Dives spot for us to visit on our trip. We had a short wait when we arrived. Our server was very friendly! I ordered the special waffles. They were delicious! It came topped with strawberries, bananas and praline pecans. It also came with a maple butter. My husband ordered the granola pancakes. He... More

I'm not going to lie, I wanted to go to this restuarant after seeing their mouthwatering Extremem biscuits and gravy featured on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-ins & Dives. That's exactly what I ordered, and I am literally salivating just remembering the experience. Our party of three ordered the extreme biscuits & gravy, the Monterey Omlette, and the french toast- all... More

It took us awhile to find this place, tucked underneath shops in the Carmel Barnyard Shopping Center, but it was very cute and someone said the signature cheese biscuits alone were worth the search. I guess our expectations were too high, as the omelets we ordered were almost inedible. Though the filling was very generous, the egg disc folded around... More

Located in the Barn Yard Shopping Center on the lower level-just behind the Carmel Mission Inn were I stayed. I found it on the Yelp app when looking for breakfast because of the poor buffet offered by the hotel. Both times I ate there-it was full and an attempted third on a Saturday AM was a 30 minute wait-due to... More

Went there with a party of eight from my office. We all enjoyed our breakfast. I had the Pebble Beach omelet with wonderful potatoes. Others had pancakes, eggs Benedict, French Toast and Agee dishes I cannot recall.everyone really enjoyed their meals. I have been eating there over 15 years and have never been disappointed!!!
