My wife and I had a lovely meal at Casanova. It's a lovely, quaint building which looks small from the outside but is actually very big inside with a warren of different rooms and cubby holes. It's beautifully done and very quaint. We skipped appetisers and went straight for the main course, my wife having salmon, which was beautifully fresh... More

The food is fantastic as is the ambiance. The cannelloni was amazing. It's been on the menu 30+ years and I know why. Service was great, wine list extensive, and the desserts incredible. Great experience.

Stopped here for a bite while in Carmel for the weekend and loved it! The food was great and the restaurant was cozy and charming. The wine was delicious and dessert was exceptional, my fiancé and topped off the meal with espressos.

Our hopes were set very high for this restaurant. We'd reserved the famous Van Gough table for my wife's birthday meal and set this as our last night in Carmel. While the wait staff was great, the quality of the food, the construction of each course, and the overall execution were not on par with what you'd expect from a... More

This is the best food, atmosphere and wine list in Carmel. The ratings by some don't square with the quality. A quaint old house with rooms carved out into private dining areas, the atmosphere is cozy. The service is a bit slow because the food is made to order but it is worth the wait . The outdoor seating is... More

I have a fond spot for this restaurant that I visited a number of times with my favorite aunt. Delicious food is an ambient space and great service. Highly recommended for dinner or lunch.

For 20 years of going to Carmel my wife and our friends always make this stop a must. The ravioli, risotto, fettuccine, seafood, and most everything on menu is excellent. The place is charming. How often do you see a large tree in the middle of a restaurant? They even have a genuine Van Gogh table where he ate. Make... More

We had been on a food tour the day before and one of the stops was Casanova. We had delightful food at all of the stops, but the gnocchi got us back for a fantastic lunch. The restaurant is oozing with charm and history, but because of the perfect weather we sat outside and loved it!

Just go there! 1. Delicious fettuccini with seafood 2. Aperol+proseco austrian cocktail - the only place I found in the usa so far 3. Quick and tasty 4. Inside and outdoors. 5. They have real van Gogh table
