Walked by and got seated immediately on the side patio. Small area but quaint. The hostess, waiter and manager were all extremely attentive. We shared the minestrone soup. Good and hearty. My husband had the sand dabs. It was very good. I had the crab ravioli. It was yummy. Definitely would recommend. Nice inside with fireplace.

We had dinner in Nico's European restaurant on San Carlos Street one night last month while visiting the beautiful town of Carmel, California. I had the delicious ruccola salad (they call it "arugula" in America) with pears and blue cheese vinaigrette to start and my wife had the Gulf prawns. I then had the quadretti pasta with sausage and my... More

Nico in Carmel California is worth visiting. The food is great and the service is pleasing. The chef has a special skill for appealing flavors and combinations. Please give it a try if you are in town.

We happened to walk by this restaurant when we were in Carmel last year for "car week" and liked the lunch menu so went in and were seated immediately. Food was good and the service was excellent. We went again this August for lunch and again for dinner and it was still outstanding. We were not disappointed! The food was... More

The service was terrible from the beginning, the waiter was called Yves he had a really bad attitude, when the bill came we had 20% gratuity included and we were a party of for, so I went to the manager/owner and he immediately took it off but Yves said that because FOREIGNERS usually don't tip, that's why he added the...
