High price for view alone

Great view (except at night where all you see is black), but the food is mediocre, service is average, and its very, very noisy.

We visited Pacific's Edge to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. The view is absolutely stunning-- pictures don't do it justice-- and the view alone is worth the price. We enjoyed our appetizers and entrees, but the desserts were especially memorable. We recommend the peanut butter mousse cake and the chocolate tart. The only negative thing... More

Menu was rather limited but had some seafood and beef choices. We had the salmon. It was moist and tender. Not overcooked. The prices are quite high. Our bill was $200 for the two of us. That included a $38 half bottle of wine. Overall it is fair value for the money considering ambiance and ocean view.

This place was everything I had expected. From the minute we walked in, we were treated like royalty. Host greeted us by names and even told me happy birthday The waiter was around whenever we needed him. And the view ...!!!!! We reserved the corner table and watched the sunset. Amazing !

We celebrated our in-laws 50th wedding anniversary with the celebratory dinner. The restaurant accommodated us with a fabulous table overlooking the Pacific. We arrived in time to watch the sun set and light changes. Breathtaking. Food was outstanding. Sommelier was engaging and helpful. Our server was acceptable but underwhelming. Perhaps the restaurant should review its 20% automatic tip policy and... More

Really exceptional food - creative and delicious. Things were a little disorganized with the holiday, but the quality of the food shone through. Nice staff. I was expecting something tiresome and stuffy, but I felt at ease through the whole evening.

Visiting my son in San Francisco and taking in the golf tournament. Stopped by to eat after. Felt rushed into a table by the hostess although was very busy when we left. Food was very good although very expensive as was the wine list which was one of the highest I've ever seen. We didn't order a bottle and at... More

Could not have picked a more wonderful place for a wedding. The people were so wonderful and the setting was beautiful.

The food and service are tops and the views from your table are gorgeous. I believe that they are priceyer than they need to be.

We enjoyed the view and festivities New Year's Eve in the lovely dining room...but the food was a disappointment. The menu was restricted, as is often the case on holiday nights, but the choices we tried were not very good. My tuna was well seasoned, but the tuna itself was tough. The risotto was just ordinary, and not entree level... More
