Exceeded Expectations on Valentine's Day

Really exceptional food - creative and delicious. Things were a little disorganized with the holiday, but the quality of the food shone through. Nice staff. I was expecting something tiresome and stuffy, but I felt at ease through the whole evening.

Visiting my son in San Francisco and taking in the golf tournament. Stopped by to eat after. Felt rushed into a table by the hostess although was very busy when we left. Food was very good although very expensive as was the wine list which was one of the highest I've ever seen. We didn't order a bottle and at... More

Could not have picked a more wonderful place for a wedding. The people were so wonderful and the setting was beautiful.

The food and service are tops and the views from your table are gorgeous. I believe that they are priceyer than they need to be.

We enjoyed the view and festivities New Year's Eve in the lovely dining room...but the food was a disappointment. The menu was restricted, as is often the case on holiday nights, but the choices we tried were not very good. My tuna was well seasoned, but the tuna itself was tough. The risotto was just ordinary, and not entree level... More

We ate here the night of our thirtieth anniversary. We were staying at the hotel, Hyatt Highlands Inn, and had been caught in the Big Sur traffic the night before, so we knew that leaving the property would mean a forty-five minute or longer trek to get to Carmel or Monterey. We tried calling several times during the day to... More

We ended up eating here by accident because we were stuck in traffic and we were starving. I am very picky with food in vacations but because of the situation I was forced to eat at the first place I saw. And holy mother of god! What a place! Everything was excellent! The ravioli is amazing, the quinoa salad was... More

We came here for my husbands birthday and we were staying nearby at the Tickled Pink hotel next door. I knew it was pricey but didn't want to drive back into Carmel . Big mistake, we came after dark so the views weren't an issue. The place was more than half empty and still the service was horrible. I finally... More

Magnificent view of Pacific Ocean sunset while enjoying good food. Menu offered variety but was on the expensive side. Wine / bar selection was good along with service. Make your reservation at least 30 minutes before sunset.....it goes down quickly.

The view from this restaurant was beautiful!!!!! The food was wonderful! We choose this due to the reviews we had read and it's location near our hotel. We were very happy with our choice. We would recommend this as a must stop when you want a nice dinner in Carmel!
