Part of Hyatt hotel. Great views from restaurant and its built literally on the edge of the cliff. Food is expensive-the kansas city steak is $65! Good meal and you can find less expensive items on the menu. Good for couples and adults.

...on a clear or partly cloudy evening. When the time goes to standard time, forget it because they are only open from 6 to 9 PM. The bar may be open, so check that. The wine list is mostly bottles, and I saw nothing under $100, so be ready. A glass starts at $16, but the selection is limited. We... More

There is no question that the sunset view from this dining room is unmatched in Carmel/Monterey. We booked our reservation to be seated 15 minutes before the sunset time we found online. It was breathtaking. The lodge itself is built onto a 100 year old stone and beam structure which is rich in history and the additions make it even... More

Apparently I am not the only one to feel neglected by the waitstaff, from reading some of the recent reviews. Having an incredible view and great food does not give you the luxury to skimp on service. We came here and watched a beautiful sunset, certainly one of the best places to come within the area. The hostess, while nice,... More

We visited Pacific's Edge for dinner and enjoyed the atmosphere. However, this is a good example of a restaurant that takes themselves seriously but only partially delivers. The food is above average but priced as excellent. There are better places to spend a lot of money with better food. The service was slow...we spent the whole evening and were the... More

My husband and I planned to go for a romantic dinner. Once in a while it's nice to splurge. Well, the food was delicious, the wine was amazing (even if we ordered by the glass). Apparently that is a no-no at a snob restaurant. But we are not in the market of paying $200 for a $40 dollar bottle of... More

My husband picked this place for my birthday. And yes the view is amazing but the service is horrible and it was so dirty we had to leave. First we get there, had a booking and wanted a drink. The hostess said she couldn't hold a table by the window so we were seated. There were flys and moths everywhere!... More

Great view of the ocean! Menu and prices were different than the restaurant. Well worth it. We had the bruschetta for an appetizer - excellent. My wife had the range chicken which thought was excellent. I had the crab cakes which also done to perfection. Then we had the creme brûlée. That was superior and a great way to finish... More

While it wasn't the best meal or the best deal we had, it was certainly one of the best views! The food was fine as was the wine list, but we got a corner table by the window and that was worth the check right there!

Beautiful sunset view. Food was prepared extremely well. Had the filet mignon with broiled asparagus. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Bread pudding was delicious. One of the best meals I have had. Highly recommend.
