Dinner Time

Went here with my parent as we were staying at the highlands inn. We basically just samples a bunch of small plates and then split one entree. Great selection of appetizers. Really loved the abalone. I researched online every place that was going to have an Easter Brunch in Monterey/Carmel. It was our first time in the area and since we had kids with us, we really wanted to give them a special Easter. Pacific's Edge advertised that it was going to have interactive Easter activities for the kids including a petting zoo. What we... More

We go to Pacific's Edge two to three times/year. If you've never been - GO. It's expensive, particularly if you order wine, but worth it for the experience and the food. Be sure to try to engage the sommelier - we told her what we intended to order and were going to ask for an alternate suggestion, but she simply... More

Lovely room with good selection of food. You can get same food in the bar upstairs if you want a more informal meal.

Great food and service. Sommelier was knowledgeable and helpful. Try the chocolate croissant bread pudding. Yum!

Because we held our wedding reception in the Surf Room below Pacific's Edge, we often choose to celebrate our milestone anniversaries here. The view is spectacular and makes for an enchanting dining experience. On the front end, these days the desk staff seems awkward. Phone staff is friendly but lack the sophistication of handling special requests with timely call backs.... More

Great view (except at night where all you see is black), but the food is mediocre, service is average, and its very, very noisy.

We visited Pacific's Edge to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. The view is absolutely stunning-- pictures don't do it justice-- and the view alone is worth the price. We enjoyed our appetizers and entrees, but the desserts were especially memorable. We recommend the peanut butter mousse cake and the chocolate tart. The only negative thing... More

Menu was rather limited but had some seafood and beef choices. We had the salmon. It was moist and tender. Not overcooked. The prices are quite high. Our bill was $200 for the two of us. That included a $38 half bottle of wine. Overall it is fair value for the money considering ambiance and ocean view.

This place was everything I had expected. From the minute we walked in, we were treated like royalty. Host greeted us by names and even told me happy birthday The waiter was around whenever we needed him. And the view ...!!!!! We reserved the corner table and watched the sunset. Amazing !
