Awesome view!

The view is awesome! The service is great! The food is good! The octopus confit was out of this world; so tender... Salmon was good as well. The wild mushroom ravioli were also good. Don't miss it!

We had dinner twice in our 4 day stay. Our servers George and Frederico were were very attentive and friendly and the sommelier was knowledgeable and right on with his recommendations.

Yes everyone has said it is over priced but you pay for the view and it is breathtaking. You won't find a better view in Carmel or Monterey as we tried. I will say $65 for a new york strip is pricey and the food was really good, not ruth chris quality but good enough. The service and staff were... More

You will notice that most every review of either this hotel or dining establishment at the Hyatt Highlands Inn is quite complimentary of the view. And I could not agree more. The builders of the facility were quite thoughtful about nestling this property in such a beautiful part of Carmel, the Highlands. The views from the floor to ceiling windows... More

This restaurant offers a limited, banal menu along with highly inflated prices. The view, of course, is beautiful but it could not compensate for the mediocre food prepared by an inept kitchen. We had short ribs that were dry, burnt, and tasteless. My companion had chicken that could easily have been served on an airline. Considering the high prices (most... More

Knowing we would be in the Carmel area for our 35th wedding anniversary I looked for a special restaurant in which we could celebrate. I found Pacific's Edge on line and booked early. Let me say that this restaurant did not disappoint in any way. The view overlooking the ocean was breathtaking, the sunset was magical, the food was outstanding,... More

Every time we visit Carmel and stay at the Tickle Pink Inn, we dine at Pacific's Edge at the Hyatt, which is literally a stone's toss away. Excellent food, beautiful presentations, attentive staff, and a beautiful view of the Pacific.

Great place to enjoy an evening drink & watch the sun set over the ocean. We had a cheese board which was good value. Overall a very pleasant evening. We didn't stay for dinner, as the ambiance in the restaurant a little sterile and quiet. I would have enjoyed a lunch there though, as the view is a great backdrop... More

I'm sure anyone who is looking at this already realizes that the views are nothing short of amazing. Probably the best view from dinner I have ever had. The food was equally amazing. I had the bone in ribeye (my steak of choice) and it was one of the best, if not the best, steak I have ever had. Wife... More

From the moment we sat down for dinner, we were in awe of the view. Our table looked out directly onto the ocean, and it was a perfect sunset the night we were there. Frederic, our server, made an outstanding recommendation when I couldn't find a specific wine on the 60+ page wine list. Food was cooked perfectly and delicious,... More
