A most wonderful evening was spent at this restaurant which I found through Trip Advisor and reserved through Open Table. It was minutes from our hotel on San Antonio & 13th in Carmel but without researching the location before leaving we would have had a difficult time finding it. The Pacific's Edge is located in the Hyatt hotel so follow... More

Like many other reviewers, I was introduced to this restaurant more for the view (which indeed is spectacular on a nice day). Of course, accompanying the view is the fine service and very good food (plus the premium that you pay for all of this). Our table enjoyed what they ordered. For myself, the only flaw was that my filet... More

Visiting Monterey and Carmel occur about twice per year for my wife and me. On the occasion of my wife's birthday, I made reservations to stay for a couple days. I searched "open table.com" for a special place to take her to dinner. When I found this beautifully positioned restaurant overlooking the Pacific coast from the Carmel Heights, I felt... More

The view is majestic. A table by the window is a must. The wine and food were excellent, and the service was up to the standard we knew.

The views from this place ate amazing. We ate over sunset and it was beautiful. It was very convenient from our hotel at the Tickle Pink and we didn't feel like driving. The food is just okay. For the price is say the food was sub-par. It was bland and just plain over priced. If it's convenient then this place... More

We liked everything and disliked nothing. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is a bit more formal than the other choices at the hotel, however it was more than worth it. The delicious meal was upstaged only by the perfect sunset.

Been dining here for years on visits to Carmel and Big Sur, never had a bad meal seldom had a top-flight great meal I've had some very fine dinners here but something was always amiss, a little removed from greatness, Last night changed this track record. We had one of those memorable meals that stay with us forever. The food... More

Food was so so but the service was horrendous - perhaps because the kitchen got slammed with a big order - no excuse for a restaurant of this caliber

Exceptional food, service and wine list with an ocean view to die for. We love the food. It is very pricey, but worth it for a special occasion. Nothing not to like.

If you do not want to eat here go get a drink in the bar. The view is spectacular. This restaurant is located about 15-20 minutes from Carmel. It is part of the Hyatt Hotel in Carmel Highlands. The restaurant is perched up high so the view of the Pacific is wonderful. We had reservations for 8 people at 6PM... More
