Pacific's Edge is located in the Highland's Inn (a Hyatt property) outside of Carmel. I had dinner at Pacific's Inn and was very disappointed in the food and quality of service. First of all, when we arrived the tables in the restaurant were only one third filled. There were 7-8 tables near the window that were empty...yet they would only... More

The food here is excellent. The problem is we had to wait over a half hour for a table when we had a reservation. The maître d couldn't have cared less. There was no sorry, nothing. It wasn't until the waiter bought us a dessert and indicated he was sorry we had to wait. The wait coupled with the attitude... More

We went for a special night on my wife's birthday with another couple. Had read the reviews prior and read the menu online so we knew how expensive it was in advance. To be fair, it will remain a special evening...so special we'll check this one off the bucket list and try someplace else the next time. The view is... More

My wife and I have been here several times over the past years and we always come back, even though it is very expensive. The last time that we were there we had the same server, Sonya and she was just great. First, the view is to die for. Try to arrive during sunset and watch it from the Sunset... More

The view is worth the prices of the food. The sommelier was very knowledgeable, and the servers were very helpful. The bread, the caesar salad, the mushrooms sides, the asparagus sides, and the dessert was top notch. I had the petit filet and it was good but not perfection. The short ribs though were top notch, and like candy. All... More

Came here with the family for my Mom's birthday and every single person in the party agreed that this was one of the top meals we've had together. All the fish dishes were fresh, the sea bass entrees were mouth watering and cooked to perfection. We read a lot about the ceviche and it came highly recommended by our wait... More

Food was super fresh and the cerviche in particular was outstanding. Waitstaff were polite and well informed and co-operated with my wife's gluten and dairy requirements

We met friends in Carmel for 3 nights and had Christmas Eve dinner at this beautiful restaurant. I had the scallops which were the best I've had anywhere and my husband's wild mushroom ravioli was delicious. Service was impeccable and I have yet to figure out how the sommelier was able to always keep the wine glasses filled without being... More

Loved the food (tasting menu was divine), Service was excellent as was the wine paring with the food. Substituted the cheese plate for desert - and it was excellent also.

This place has stunning views! great for a special occasion & a sanctuary of gastric delights. The fish is so fresh, the service top notch. The wine cellar can accommodate small parties, but you might have to join the wine club. Make sure to get a reservation
