Charming outdoor patio, nice staff but---playing some sort of hip hop music that didn't match the ambience and was irritating. The taco salad was mediocre at best. To be fair, I saw other plates going by that did look tasty.

The service was good and the food was just ok. Obviously all tourist goes there because Clint Eastwood owns it. If the food was much better , it would be perfect

Great little place for appetizers and a nice glass of wine. Patio has fireplaces throughout and with the cooler foggy air in Carmel it's most welcome. Waiters are friendly although a little overloaded. Very dog friendly (as is most of the town), they will bring a bowl of water and give your furry friend doggie treats.....very fun. Wish the appetizer... More

The outside dining next to a fireplace and under heaters was fun on a cool evening; I cannot imagine eating inside with that option available. The menu at the Hog's Breath Inn is not too extensive, but all looked so good that it was tough to choose. The Sand Dabs were plentiful and perfectly cooked; the beef ribs were also... More

We went for happy hour when the drinks and appetizers were discounted. This is a cool place down a set of stairs nestled among several buildings. There is a great outside patio with heaters overhead. We had $6 martinis and ordered the fresh Monterey Bay calamari. They were tender and delicious with a great crispy crust. We did not eat... More

Just got back from a trip to Carmel and ate here for dinner. I had the chicken fettuccine and my friend had the halibut. The pasta was great and as is always the case with pasta, portion size was large and very filling. The halibut was great but pricey for two smallish fillets. I tried and Hog's Breath Chardonnay and... More

I had to make a visit here as am a big fan of Clint Eastwood. This bar is still partially owned by him. Some great photos of him inside and a great little bar try the Bloody Mary. Food was great we had burgers and sandwiches lovely little court yard with plenty of fires going well worth a visit.

This place was wonderful, it is on the pricey side, but would definitely eat there again. You can order anything on the menu and not go wrong!!

It was already dark we were tired but hungry. We walk in the Hog's Breath Inn in spite of the name (or maybe because of the name!) We dine on the court yard. It was in the same time simple and sophisticated. We experienced friendly service and excellent food.
