Beautiful restaurant, don't get the pasta

The infamous Clint Eastwood restaurant. The place is very Carmel. Quaint, eccentric and not the usual fine dining which we thoroughly enjoyed! Although the pasta I got was absolutely bland. I had to smother it with Parmesan before I could enjoy it! However, the rest of my family who DID NOT get a... read more

What a friendly service staff! Very accommodating and friendly as well. The food is great and not that expensive either. The dirty harry burgers are so delicious! The atrium is a great outdoor sitting for a nice relaxing dining whether for lunch or dinner. A wonderful place!

I had the dirty Harry burger and it was terrific. My friends had the prime rib sandwich, they also thought it was great. The service was super and the prices were good.

Great atmosphere under the great oak tree; and usually a good crowd. The service is very nice. The food was good.

From the relaxed outdoor garden with toasty warm heaters for the winter to the delicious local ale and wonderfully friendly service, this Pub style restaurant delivered beautifully on the two occasions that I had to eat there. The menu was not over-long but the dishes all seemed as well prepared and as fresh as each other and not particularly pricey... More

Remember this is more than a meal, it's a memory. I got the Dirty Hairy Burger and throughly enjoyed it. Food and drinks are a little high, but remember where you are. The heaters are a nice touch, love the movie memorabilia, and the secluded patios dinning is perfect for this artsy CA town. Enjoy and share with us on... More

We've been to Hog's Breath Inn many many times over the years so it's a favorite. We like sitting in the little "pub" area beneath the mounted hog's head while enjoying a drink while planning our Carmel excursions. The mural on the far outdoor wall is spectacular and worth a stop in just to see it! We had sliders, fries... More

Dog friendly, great food, atmosphere and music. Service was a little slow but everyone was very pleasant. I had a good burger, the bread was great. My husband had a fabulous chicken club with fresh avocados.

My interest in dining here during our California vacation was sparked simply by a man's T-shirt that I saw in passing back in my home town of Houston. Something about it stood out to me as a place I would love to visit. Fast track months down the road from that scene and there we were, stopping into Carmel-by-the-Sea to... More

We stop here for drinks before dinner and thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere, either sitting in the bar or outside near the open fireplace. The bartender is very friendly as is the rest of the wait staff, and my Long Island Iced Tea was so good.
