Chicken was finger-lickin good!

The fried chicken and baby back ribs were yummy. We loved the outdoor seating and it was a very fun crowd. Great place to bring your small dogs.

The two of us sat there for a good 20 minutes one evening. We asked for service, wanting to get something to drink, it was about 9pm. They were not particularly busy, which is something I am sensitive to, since my daughter in in the restaurant business. After no one came to our rescue, we simply walked out. We told... More

For the past three years I have been going to The Hog's Breath Inn for their Dirty Harry Burger. The meat is angus beef mixed with brisket. It is served on a ciabatta roll that melts in your mouth. You can get any toppings. This time I got onion rings, they were so good we ordered a second helping. The... More

If you think youi're going here because Eastwood mght be there- don't. If you're going because you think the cocktails will be great, don't. If you want a beer and to sit with colorful locals, GO!

Had to go because of Clint of course (even though he doesn't own the place - he does own another Inn & Restaurant in Carmel). Anyway, got there around 11:30 and it was pretty empty. Waiter was a bit slow but friendly. Food was excellent. There are many places to eat in Carmel - and I wouldn't necessarily recommend that... More

The Hog's Breath Inn has a nice atomsphere and friendly service. We shared fried calamari and onion rings for starters which were very good. My daughter ordered a salad which turned out to be a salad-head cut in two with three cherry tomatos and some bacon on top...she wasn't very happy. My Dirty Harry sirlone steak was just ok -... I say Touristy, but of course what else could it be when associated with Clint Eastwood. As you would expect, lots of Hollywood photos around the place and some memorabilia. Food was average, nothing to get excited about. Go, see it, say you've been there when your friends ask if you'd into that sort of thing, but don't go for... More

I always enjoy having a glass of wine by a fireplace. It is even better when you can sit outside and bring your dog. I would recommend coming here for a drink and the artichoke soup. The other things (crab cakes and ceasar salad) we tried were not so great.

I ate here with some friends and our dogs. It's nice you can sit outside with your dogs, but that feature is about the only thing the restaurant has going for it as I felt is severely packed atmosphere and ambiance, especially compared to Forge in the Forest. The menu was large with a wide assortment of options. I had... More
