The food was very delicious and the service was very fast. I can't recall the last time I was at a restaurant when dinner was served this quickly. It did not hamper the taste and experience at all. Will go again!

Hog's Breath has a great location and good food; but the service is a little slow even when it is not crowded.

The food is pretty pedestrian. My baby back ribs were served luke-warm at best and the rest of the food was very standard chicken and pasta. A few notches above fast food.

Service was mediocre. Once seated, food order taken promptly. Food arrived promptly and was very good. We didn't see waiter after food was served and had to ask for tab.

The staff at Hogs Breath Inn are some of the friendliest in Carmel. There are several fireplace in the courtyard and all are nice to sit by. It's dog friendly which we love. We love to order bottle of the house wine and appetizers and relax by the fire! Only thing that would make it better is meeting Clint!!

We stumbled upon the Hog's Breath Inn on a Sunday for lunch and realized the association with Clint Eastwood, we decided to give it a try. Hostess was friendly and quick. Once we sat down, service was terrible. Our waiter was not around much and spoke so softly, it was difficult to understand him. The menu was not very large... More

A fun out of the way restaurant which has a fun garden patio for eating and a rustic atmosphere. Just the thought that Clint Eastwood stills owns it, is great to know. You never know who you will see there. It has a smaller menu but it tuck away in a great location and it can be very romantic at... More

We are not Carmel natives, but live close enough that we visit the area several times a year. At first ,we came because of the places' connection to Clint Eastwood (long since expired), but we enjoyed the simple pub food and friendly atmosphere. After a day of photography on the Carmel coast, we were ready for a light, late, lunch.... More

Stopped in here for some beers after dinner. Nice outside/patio area with a fireplace. Great service. Artichoke soup was good.

We came across the Hogs Breath by chance on the way back to our hotel and wandered in for a drink but not to eat. It has a really nice courtyard with lots of open fires sides inside and out ( needed on this December day) . The service was friendly and prompt and we enjoyed a couple of drinks... More
