I can't remember the last time we had a meal that was flawless from start to finish. The ginger salsa with fried wontons was great. We had the abalone ($50 and worth it) and the almond sea bass. Both were cooked to perfection. Moist with a crunch on the outside. Dessert was a banana tempura... read more

Not sure what was up tonight, but the server was asleep. The food was great but experience fell short of a ZAGOT Rating when the menus were left on the table, used plates left on the table, I ended up busing the table myself. On top of that, there was a strange, hobo-looking man sitting at the hostess stand having... More

Food and service is top notch. View menu online before you go. Closed for lunch. Cozy, small and popular definitely call for reservations. For a party of 2 looking for romance ask to sit by the fireplace.

Our dinner was an amazing experience from start to finish. We went for my husband's birthday and we both agree we will definitely be coming back. The service by our waiter Tony was exceptional and the ambiance was perfect. The Almond Crusted Sea Bass and the Seared Ahi were delicious! Probably the best seafood dinner we have ever had. The... This restaurant deserves every accolade it receives - the sea bass was one of the best I have ever eaten. Even though it is a fish house my husband had the steak and said it was delicious.

We made reservations to eat here a month before we flew from North Carolina to California. I couldn't wait to try this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing - the service was great ! It was tucked in a corner that you have to really look for - but what an experience. The artichoke appetizer was... More

We had a lovely meal at Flying Fish Grill. Fish prepared well and presented well, too. The service was great...particularly our bus boy, actually, who had a great sense of humor and really bent over backwards to make sure that we had fun and a great meal. We had been hiking during the day, and so we were famished and... More

The Flying Fish is consistently wonderful. Good food, good service, and unique atmosphere. Rich & Kenny make you feel welcome and "at home" the minute you walk in the door. The "miso-salsa" dip for the "tempora chips" should be bottled and sold!! We never leave without ordering the green-tea ice cream sundae!! :~)

We were late so they have up our table but were still able to get us in. The atmosphere is really neat. Food excellent and service was the best I've witnessed in a long time.
