Had a fantastic meal in this cosy restaurant - we booked from our hotel earlier in the evening and were lucky to get a table. Lovely ambiance and lighting - located downstairs. Both service and food were excellent. We especially enjoyed the Joullian Sauvignon Blanc (and spent the rest of our trip looking to buy some to take home!) Would... More

Absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere, service and especially the food are all exceptional. We had a booth in the back that was a little secluded – cozy for sitting with friends or a significant other. The wine list had a great selection of bottles and half bottles and the food was awesome. We had the spring rolls to start, which had... More

Exquisite tasty and creative dishes. Service was very pleasant, although entree took more than 30 minutes to arrive. One complaint is the temperature of the room. We found it unpleasantly warm. This could keep us from returning, so I hope they do something about it. And the kitchen probably needs to prepare for busy nights, or at least do something... More

The staff couldn't have been nicer and the food was excellent. I had the Sea Bass and my wife had Halibut and both were very good.

Amazing food, great atmosphere and friendly attentive service--what more could one ask for when dining out? This will be a 'don't miss' place when we are in the area!

What a superb dinner I had at this highly rated Carmel, Ca seafood restaurant. The menu is highly imaginative & offers a wide variety of traditional & Asian seafood specialties. The food was first rate as was the speed of the wait staff. It pays to get reservations as early as possible.

Marti had the Alaskan Black Sea Cod while I opted for the Abalone. The Cod was a hit but some of the Abalone pieces were tough enough to be inedible. A deduction on the Abalone was made on the bill. We enjoyed the complimentary crisp won-ton appetizers with the house salsa. Reservations are a must.

When our group of eight started looking for a place to dine in Carmel, many on line reviews as well as personal references led us to the Flying Fish. We ate there on a Thursday evening and we're fortunate to get reservations! The restaurant is small, and the ambiance is so fun. From the wooden bench seating to the flying... More
