This was one of the best meals my wife and I ever had. The preparation was exquisite and our meals were top shelf. The atmosphere was nice and cozy and the wait staff very attentive. Would go back in a heartbeat. What was also nice was we were able to get in without reservations even though the place was packed... More

Had a good meal, not great but good. Let me point out they do not serve mixed drinks, only wine and beer. Sea Bass was prepared excellent but the rock shrimp were about the size of a thumbtack. Waitress was not very attentive but the guy who took away your dishes was great. He needed to be a waiter.

I don't remember the decor but the steamed black bean halibut is 5 star! You open up the steamed pouch to the aroma of this combination and it's all about the taste! Wow.

Excellent food, great local wine and reasonably priced. This was by far the best meal we had in our holiday to California. I had the Halibut for main and it was divine. If you eat at one place in Carmel make sure it's the flying fish!

Saw on TripAdvisor that this was the second-highest rated restaurant in Carmel, so we made a reservation and had high expectations for our meal. The tables were uncomfortable and cramped and the restaurant was very warm. Service was up-and-down--we had at least 4 different people taking care of us, and this led to periods of time where no one was... More

What a beautiful environment, we were led to our table, in private dining area, lit well by candles and surrounded by wood, where we proceeded to have a great selection of asian american fusion cuisine. Everything about the evening made our hearts soar. As my husband just remarked, everything we had was delicious and we came away feeling nourished and... More

Had dinner here while spending the weekend in Carmel. Cozy and casual little restaurant (seats 45) with friendly wait staff. Had shrimp curry soup -- light soup in a vegetable broth, spicy but not too spicy. Black bean halibut entree absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious! Overall very nice dining experience. Would definitely recommend it.
