As soon as you walk in, you notice right away that this is gonna be an expensive tasting room just from the stylish ambiance. No matter because the wines and the knowledgeable counter staff was well worth every penny (or dollar). They also happen to be the only tasting room (out of countless rooms in the area) that offered bubbles.... More

It's truly all about the Chardonnay, Pinot & Bubbles. while some what more pricy as wine rooms go, it was well worth the money spent. TheTasting room is dark and intimate. The staff very knowledgeable. So glad that I tried the 2009 Brut Rose, a sparkling Rose wine made from pinot noir and Chardonnay in what is called the methode... More

We come often when in town. The wines are a bit pricier then the average wine room in Carmel but they are good and the service is always friendly, knowledgable and happy to see you return.

I agree with another reviewer...this felt more like a wine bar than a tasting room, but I mean that in a good way. A group of 5 of us stopped in, grabbed a tasting table and enjoyed some delicious snacks and wines for an hour or so. We felt we could ask questions, and the server was very knowledgeable, but... A dark ambiance in this room, it was a bit crowded so my hubby and I had to sit kind of out of the way but we moved up to the bar when people left. Great conversation, we really enjoyed learning about the history and where the wine was from. Their pours were generous too! One thing travellers must note... More

We really enjoyed this tasting room. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The sparkling wine and wine was very good. This is a very enjoyable experience in an elegant tasting room.

Really neat atmosphere, good wines (the sparkling is very good) and very friendly service. I agree with another reviewer that it felt more like a wine bar than a tasting room. We enjoyed the tasting and talking with the manager. Try Jeffery's Nuts too if they have them. Caraccioli was our favorite tasting room in Carmel (and we tried several!)

Good central California bubbly. Tasting room is very attractive and relaxing. They also have a TV if you want to sneak a peak at a sports event.

Caraccioli Cellars in downtown Carmel is very sleek and stylish with a lively atmosphere. It feels more like a trendy wine bar than a tasting room. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was busy but not overcrowded; we were able to get seats at the bar without waiting. The tasting cost $10 for four tastes from the menu... More

The people there who run it, young, hip and really nice--are awesome and know their stuff! This was a pleasant place to stop in for a beverage!
