Loved it

A cool and damp Tuesday evening but a warm welcome and hot fire pit awaited at Flanagan's. The barnyard looking a bit neglected but still a pretty place. At Flanagan's -Guinness spot on,food well cooked and generously portioned. Great chips with skins on. Nice ambience inside & out. Had to be... read more

Very few other places open at the time we were there but when I saw the name "Flanagans Irish Pub" we wanted to give it a go. Everyone, as most Americans seem to be, were very pleasent and helpful. The first thing we noticed was the stale smell in the whole place, probably coming from the carpet which looked as... More

There was a very good and varied selection of seafood dishes on offer. The service was friendly and efficient and the food excellent.

Ate here during our stay in Carmel. We got our order to go and although the food was pretty good-our order was completely wrong, things were forgotten and some things were cold. Maybe would go again but eat there?

Just a short walk from the hotel we found Flanningan's. A friendly atmosphere as soon as we walked in. Coming from Liverpool, I was surprised to see Liverpool Football Club memorabilia around the walls. It transpires that the owner visited Liverpool and fell in love with the city. He even named the place after Flanningan's Apple in Matthew Street. The... More

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality and portions of our lunch. It was served out doors on the loft deck overlooking the inner gardens.

We were really cold and tired by the time we got to Carmel so we decided for something quick and easy for dinner that night. Flannigan's was directly behind the hotel within easy walking distance so we walked over and sat down. The server gave us the menus and took our drink orders. Opening the menu was like Christmas morning... More

Located on the upper level of the Barnyard Shopping Center. Not the usual shopping center bar-but more of a neighborhood flavor. There is a pool table and several TV's tuned to sporting events. Many of the patrons seemed to know each other--along with us tourists. Good selection of local beers and a full bar. There is typical bar food-fish and... More

While on a road trip and looking for a casual place for dinner we found Flanagan's. Place is small, maybe 8-10 tables, one server and a bartender. Server was very friendly and the food was great. My wife had the Sand Dabs and she said they were very tasty. I had the steak sandwich and it was outstanding. Usually a... More
