We enjoyed our dinner at Le St Tropez during our visit to Carmel. It is a nice small restaurant with a romantic atmosphere and delectable selection of entrees. The food was delicious! The only negative I would give this restaurant is their service. The food took a long time to come and staff could be friendlier.

I reviewed this restaurant three years ago. We visited it last night and enjoyed it just as much as we did last time. As few things before the food. First, the service is very attentive and the kitchen has the timing down perfectly even on a crowded night like last night. Second, you'd better have reservations because they were turning... More

We did get there rather early and were seated in a circular booth at a circular table. The decor of the restaurant is very sedate with a reference to France. The service was perfect and we were visited, apparently, by the entire staff, one by one. Speaking of romance, this was the perfect spot. The food and drinks were also... More

The restaurant itself was about a third full on a Friday night so quiet enough to have a private conversation but with enough diners to provide a din of activity. My wife and I split the veal sweetbreads appetizer. My wife is not a great fan of sweetbreads so we are very selective when ordering this item. This serving was... More

The food here is good, but not fantastic. The main reason we came here was to have authentic Grand Marnier soufflés for dessert. No such luck - the soufflé itself was OK, but the Grand Marnier sauce was watery and tasteless and didn't seem to have any Grand Marnier in it. At $10 each (with a minimum order of two),... More

First time was pretty good. Second was very good. Third was poor. After finding something foreign in my food and alerting the waiter, nothing was done. Though the food tasted very good, the lack of an appropriate response from the restaurant is inexcusable.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner here on recent trip. The mussels, salmon pizza & duck are incredible. 5 star all the way. The prix fix dinner provides an affordable option in an area known for overpriced restaurants. There are also many gluten free options for those on special diets. Great martinis and local wines are also featured.

My wife and I enjoyed a very nice date night at Le Saint Tropez. Food was verygood, the service was quick and efficient and the restaurant was lively but not distracting. We will definitely go back. Thanks!

Attended a large dinner gathering that reserved the entire restaurant. Menu was limited but food was excellent and the service fantastic. I enjoyed the filet of Sea Bass which was perfectly cooked. Considering that they were serving about 70 people all at once I was pleasantly surprised at the freshness and quality of the food. Everyone at our table was... More
