First time and really liked it

Went with friends and it was our first visit. Asked for the patio, very nice sitting outside in quaint garden setting. Has umbrellas if too much sun, heaters if too cold. Service was excellent, very attentive. Crepes were hugh, could not finish. Sandwiches very good, tried the crab and the... read more

My husband and I were visiting Carmel. After a browse around town we found Le St. Tropez with no wait for lunch. The food was excellent, practically everything on the menu was available gluten free (he is sensitive to gluten), and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. Tres bien!!

We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we had a 2nd dinner there during our recent stay in Carmel! And probably would have gone back if we hadn't been going home. Every dish was beautifully prepared and presented. I had the salmon the first night and we shared the roast chicken for 2 during our next visit. You have to... More

We tried this restaurant on a lark for lunch two years ago and again last Fall . . . primarily because it was uncrowned when other spots were not (perhaps a warning?) and looked somewhat interesting if not charming. The food and service turned out to be adequate and average for a simple lunch but certainly not anything to write... More

Very nice sunny and shaded courtyard. Made me feel like I was in a little Mediterranean corner. We have a quick lunch of the antipasto and a chicken sandwich. All very nice although the antipasto only had minuscule pieces of Serrano ham and the a ham hock Terrine and a pate. Not what I expected. Chicken sandwich rated nice. Good... More

I have never been disappointed with this chic bit of the French Riviera. Have had lunch here multiple times and have found the service and the cuisine both extraordinaire. It is a busy spot with the locals which is a great sign of its success! Try the Coquilles St Jacques, you'll remember it

We stopped for a late light lunch after driving all day from Seal Beach. This was a delightful spot. I only wish we had known about the outdoor patio, we would have eaten out there. Our daughter has a couple food allergies, and the kitchen was very conscientious about it and understanding. We really appreciated it. She had a wonderful... More

Good food, good service, pleasant ambiance. A happy evening and felt that we might well come back for another visit.

We visited this restaurant, recommended by some locals, and were not disappointed. The decor is Provençal and the menu followed suit. The onion soup was absolutely superb, as were our entrees. Just walking along this charming street was delightful as well.
