We visited this restaurant, recommended by some locals, and were not disappointed. The decor is Provençal and the menu followed suit. The onion soup was absolutely superb, as were our entrees. Just walking along this charming street was delightful as well.

We have been in Carmel for 4 days and have eaten at several local restaurants. I don't believe there are bad restaurants in Carmel. Some are just more pricey than others. Le St Tropez is cute nicely decorated with friendly service. We were not overly hungry so we ordered an appetizer each. My husband had French Onion Soup which was... More

After reading the reviews here we decided to stop by. What a delightful little place. We were initially seated in the courtyard but it was a bit chilly so we asked to move back inside. We both went with the four course meal. I had the steak and my husband had the salmon. It was hard to decide which was... More

Le St. Tropez is always a stop if we are near Camel. The servce and fare are great. We could easily eat everything on the menu. The atmosphere is not prtentious, nor is the cost extravagant.. We took friends recenly and they were impressed, vowing to return. Thanks to the family who pleases our palet and makes us always glad... More

We have eaten here several times over the years. Not once has a meal, whether lunch or dinner, ever been anything but outstanding. The atmosphere is very quaint, charming. They've now added some patio dining, although we haven't tried that yet. Food, drinks, the absolute best you'll have in Carmel!!

A delightfull dining experience in Carmel! Delicious food and the chef did an excellent job of working around my food allergy. The owner and wait staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and gracious. Will be returning soon.

One of many good options for dinner in Downtown Carmel. No corkage fee if you buy wine from one of the local tasting rooms, try Galante accross the street. They take reservations and have indoor and outdoor dining. Escargot was very good. Mushroom Ravioli was outstanding. They had fresh truffles with some of the dishes. Duck breast and Salmon were... On our last two trips to Carmel we have enjoyed this quaint restaurant, and our only regret is that we didn't try this spot sooner. Wonderful menu choices, full bar service, and a great staff make for a great experience. The owner is hands on, and it shows in the quality. Nice, cheerful dining room is enchanting as well. Can't... I had escargot which was very good!! Complimentary hummus & olives along with bread selection to enjoy over a tasty Cab Sav! For entree... More
