This recently opened restaurant is wonderful. Please keep in mind I only had lunch here but it was delicious. There is indoor seating as well as a lovely outdoor patio tucked in back not visible from the street. The service was very gracious. We had a coupon for a free appetizer with entree that they were willing to honor even... More

A very welcoming and lovely dining experience alone on business travel. The staff was well trained and very professional. they had excellent teamwork. I chose the salmon which was delicious as well as the warm cucumber salad. I had the warm apple tart with vanilla ice cream. Music was not french but was relaxing. The hostess advised I sit in... This review is for gluten free pizzas that we took to our hotel room, so I cannot comment on the restaurant service or ambiance. The pizzas, however, were delicious! The crusts were thin and crispy and the toppings fresh and abundant. What a treat! We'll eat at Le St Tropez next time we visit Carmel!

This is a very cute restaurant, but it seems a bit sterile. The food is good, and they have a VERY large selection of gluten free items. Highly recommended for that reason in particular.

Disappointing dining experience. Fussy owner never visited our table, all show. Waitresses young and inexperienced. Food rather bland with no authentic French flare, sauce or presentation. Ambiance flat and music inappropriate. Very lack lustre overall.

This unpretentious French restaurant is a gem. The space is somewhat eclectic with various colorful items, many reminiscent of Provence. Service was uniformly friendly and poised. The food? Simply wonderful with more gluten-free options than we can remember seeing on a fine dining menu. It is also a tad less expensive than other excellent French restaurants in Carmel.

So happy that the Inn reccomended this French restaurant!! Ambiance was great! Not too noisy. Manager is on the money. Observing all tables. Front reception help welcoming. The young lady who was keeping all of the tables w their place settings was also on the money. Hard workers to make a good dining experience. Braised short rib stellar! Fish dish... More

We really enjoyed our evening and after being VERY disappointed with our last attempt at French Food in Carmel on our anniversary in May, we were pleasantly surprised to find such a little gem !! I'm so glad we gave French Food another try. Everything was delicious, the staff very kind and the atmosphere was nice too. It was a... More

Any Celiac or gluten-free person within the area MUST come here. This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had as a Celiac, and that is saying a lot because eating out is extremely tricky when trying to handle cross contamination. I called ahead and talked to Chef Jean when I made the reservation. He explained all of the... More
