Dinner

We were here for dinner during the memorial weekends, we walked in and were seated at the patio, which were a little chilly at night but it was ok with the outdoor IR heater. The food were not bad, taste of the escargots were a little too light, the duck was cook to perfection and the short ribs... read more

We went there for a light lunch on a Sunday afternoon and we were lucky to get a table right away ! even though , she was quite busy , our smiling waitress took the time to provide us some clarification on the menu and made some recommendations . We ordered some wine and it was quicly served to us... More

Ordered onion soup, truffle mushroom ravioli, sausage pizza and they were all amazing. Sitting in the garden by fire is a must!

Restaurant patio is down a little alley, cute patio but odd seating arrangements. My husband and I were seated 6ft apart from each other on one side of a fire pit while another couple sat close together staring directly at us from the other side of fire pit. WEIRD! Service was very poor. Waiter was more interested in cell phone... More

I love crepes and was able to get both savory and sweet gluten free crepes here unlike back home. And they tasted like real crepes, unlike some other places I had been (for example, a crepe restaurant in Houston). It's a quiet, quaint restaurant with excellent service. The weather was beautiful the day we went, so almost every other party... More

I had researched restaurants in Carmel online as we were staying in town. The menu at Le St Tropez looked good but, unfortunately, I did not look on Tripadvisor before making our reservation! My first impression was that this was a quiet restaurant but should have realised it was almost empty, not a good sign. We were shown to a... More

We traveled from our S.F. bay area home to have lunch with friends staying in Carmel. This is a wonderful dog friendly restaurant (children under 8 are not welcome on the patio but are welcome in the restaurant). There are plenty of umbrellas to keep off the sun and to reinforce the St Tropez motif. There is a fire pit... More

Everything on the menu sounded delicious and reasonably-priced, but we tried the "fixed price dinner." For $40 per person, it doesn't sound inexpensive, until you realize you get quite a bit for your money. You get a choice of soup (French Onion - very hearty and delicious !) or salad (Caesar's - a good-sized wedge of romaine with dressing); choice... More

There were four of us. We split two pizzas and two salads plus a bottle of wine. The pizzas were really good, the salad was good but not special, and it was a nice bottle of wine for the price. They have a nice menu with entrées between $17 and maybe $30. Will probably try some of them but would... More

Went with friends and it was our first visit. Asked for the patio, very nice sitting outside in quaint garden setting. Has umbrellas if too much sun, heaters if too cold. Service was excellent, very attentive. Crepes were hugh, could not finish. Sandwiches very good, tried the crab and the ham. This was lunch, and price was ok for downtown... More
