Ordered two sizes $10 and $20 chicken pot pies togo. And here they come... in a paper cup, no pastry, just gravy, chicken and I the think some vegetables with a few pieces of wafer bread to throw on top. Flavor not bad, but come on. I live here, I'll pass the good word.

This is a cafe with a nice casual, trendy (farmer-chic) atmosphere. Food was very fresh and tasty but not the best I've had in Carmel. The espresso beverages are well made. I will not return to this restaurant. I went twice, in case my first visit was a "fluke," but both times I went the service was awful. The staff... More

In the centre of Carmel this great cafe offers, fresh salads and juices and fresh sandwiches. Also great Italian coffee for the Aussie coffee lovers, just remember to ask for the smallest takeaway cup - 8oz.

We found Belle because we were looking for coffee and ended up going back two more times during our 1 month stay in Carmel. Breakfast is fresh with great ingredients. They can only do poached eggs, so if anyone in your gang wants an egg that is scrambled or fried, this isn't the place for you. They also have fresh... More

We slip in here first thing when we're in Carmel or thereabouts. It is a simple, casual scene, nestled within a shopping gallery, but with the best, fresh dishes, cookies, tea and coffee. You can stop right there with the sliced avocado with sea salt and olive oil on grilled bread. It is an addiction, nothing even close anywhere else.... More

We were looking for a nice place for breakfast and saw a bunch of locals with their takeout coffee and traced it back to Carmel Belle. It's not easy to spot as it's hidden inside a gallery of shops. I had the mushroom &egg sandwich and my husband had the egg& bacon. Both were really good. We also ordered coffee... More

My friend and I stopped by Carmel Belle for breakfast after an early morning hike. We were still dusty and cooling down, so the seat-your-self dining room was perfect. The ambiance is almost like you're in an enclosed garden, spacious and roomy, with farm/chicken decorations. And the food was great! We each ordered an egg sandwich, simple but delicious. Plus... I had Bree and soft baguette and asparagus, with a latte. My companion had a vegetarian spinach Benedict on brioche with California dream fresh juice. Very west coast and delicious.

While the reviews here were good, I am sort of on the fence. It is cafeteria style ordering but the seating area feels like I am at a cheap pancake house or in a food court (sorry). It lacks ambiance. As for the food, it is good but don't expect deep portions. The Oatmeal with Apples is basic at best... More

I actually followed some locals I overheard to this restaurant hidden in an internal square. You order at a register and then grab an indoor or outdoor table and they bring your food to you. The food was very fresh and delicious. I had fresh heirloom and tomatoes and fresh baked bread with salted butter - yummy. A nice option... More
