If you understand and love food, this is the best in Carmel. The foie gras was $20, which we split, but amazing. Actually it was $33, because we each had a small reisling with it. Worth every penny. The wine guy knows just what to get for you, including the main course. Just ask. They have huge... read more

A slice of old world cuisine and splendid service, this place stepped up to a 6-course winemaker dinner for nearly 70 people with a graceful precision that comes from classic training. The abundant courses were swiftly delivered, the wine flowed freely and the gastronomical talents behind the counter were expressed brilliantly in dishes like seared scallop in beurre blanc with... The only thing not to like is that it's a bit over-priced, even for Carmel. We bought a split of MacIntyre Chardonnay for almost the same price as was listed for a full bottle the next night at the Rio Grill. But you're paying for that personal attention to detail and service, so for a special occasion, it's worth it.... More

Everything I've had at Andre's Bouchee has been fantastic. I work in Carmel, and I always recommend Andre's to people for dinner and lunch. They have a fabulous wine list, with lots of great wines by the glass and great suggestions for pairing as well. The menu changes regularly, which I really like because I like trying many different foods.... More

Celebrated the wife's birthday here and we very much enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and excellent food served to us. Started with salade de Crotin which was huge (besides delicious) even though we split the full order. Then on to Soupe a l'Oignon and the lobster bisque which were both well done. Could've stopped there as servings were very... More

Adres Bouchee Retaurant is tasteful and quiet in design and decor and run by a personable and gratious staff. I had the filet mignon and have to say it was the best in my memory of favored filet mignons! I will return one day!

They honored our reservation on time even though it was busy. Service was attentive but not pushy. Wine list had a wide variety of prices and wines. Everything we ordered was delicious. I will return next time we are in Carmel.

We went to celebrate my husbands birthday as we both love french food - ahhhhh we felt we were back in Paris. We were warmly greeted and the host could not have been more personable. My husband described the kind of red wine he likes and promptly he had 2 glasses to try -both were excellent choices. My husband ordered... More
