This was our third time dining at Andre's Bouchee and each time has been a very pleasant experience. The food is exceptionally well prepared and there are excellent wines available by the glass. The service is tremendous with great descriptions and recommendations. On our last visit, we sipped sparkling Rose while deciding on the Dover Sole and the Short Ribs.... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Andre's Bouchee. Every dish was beautifully made and presented. The chef is a seasoned French cook and his wife is a wonderful host. Although it was expensive it was well worth the price and we highly recommend this spot for a special meal!

Wonderful restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and extremely good food. Dishes were somewhat simple, but quite appealing and expertly executed. Many of the other restaurants in Carmel are overrated, overpriced or somewhat disappointing, but Andre's Bouchee provided a genuinely great meal and I would certainly return to the restaurant upon visiting the area again.

My wife and I were walking around Carmel looking for a place to have lunch and stumbled across Andre's Bouchee. We were originally attracted by the special lunch menu, but decided to eat from the standard menu when we got seated. I had scallops in puff pastry as a main course, my wife had chicken & mushroom crepe, both were... More

The food and service were excellent. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The only drawback was that the wines were quite expensive. I'd eat here again any time, but I might want to bring my own bottle of wine (assuming it's allowed--I didn't check). The appetizers and main course were both innovative and delicious, always a good combination. The... More

Two out of three people at our table did not like the onion soup. The broth was way too bitter. We specifically went to this restaurant to have the lamb shank. They were out. The back up plan was the lobster bisque. They were out. All due respect, this is not acceptable for a top restaurant. My wife had the... More

The food was very good and Andre's son was charming and helpful - nonetheless, the staff seemed generally absent-minded - maybe they felt overwhelmed for a 25th of December. The waiter accidentally spilled butter on my sweater as he cut my filet of sole - it was a seasonal edition and a sweater dear to me - the waiter offered... More

We have eaten at Andre's Bouchee twice during the past week. On both occasions, the seafood and meat were exceptionally well-cooked although the sauces were applied too heavily in some cases. The restaurant's "sweet spot" appears to be when they go simple, such as in a staggeringly good mushroom soup. The wine list is very good but, like almost all... More

Simply put, we love it! We have eaten here two times in 2010 and have never been disappointed. The service by the ownership ( Liz, Andre and Stephan) and staff is flawless. The food is lovingly prepared by a true artist & chef. The passion and attention to detail these folks put into their restaurant is obvious. You must try... More

My husband and I try to eat at Bouchee once a year when we visit Carmel. The first time was several years ago before the new ownership. The second time was during the first week of the new ownership, and my husband had an unpleasant experience with fish that was quite underdone. The staff apologized were very accommodating. We just... More
