This was a really good dinner. Steak done perfect and tender with a fabulous sauce. Sweetbreads to die for, great wine list and a wait staff that knows good pairings. I would eat here again and again.

My wife and I were very apprehensive when we read several of the rather negative comments on the Open Table website, however, our faith in this restaurant remains firm, as the maître de, the sommelier, our waitress and most of all the food were absolutely delightful. We continue to highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Excellent service, excellent food. We went twice in the week. The reservations worked perfectly. A real taste from France - simple - tasty - an effort on the raw materials. I recommend it.

We stood for more than five minutes in front of the nonchalant hostess before she could even answer if there was a table available (and there was). The couple waiting in front of us had reservations but that did not keep her from also making them wait. My salmon was a bit raw for my taste. The waiter pushed for... More

We arrived on a busy Thursday with a young child and no reservation - both of which could have been a problem at other restaurants in Carmel. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait or, if we were up for it, we could sit at the Chef's table. We chose the chef's table and were delighted and... More

On line reservations worked like a champ. Even got a call from the restaurant to remind me I was a little late. Nice touch. The food in a nutshell was great. The best part I think was the personal treatment received by the staff-Sebastian(?) and the wine steward. They really made sure the food selection was right and matched with... More

Our meals were very good - the onion soup was delicious and profiteroles to finish were equally enjoyable. Service was friendly and efficient. An extensive wine list with about 1000 selections including many Bordeaux vintages from the '70's and '80's (and even a bottle from the fine year of 1949) reflects the passion and wine knowledge of the owner. Mind... More

This was a birthday celebration. My mixed seafood entree was delicious and my husbands salmon was cooked perfectly. This is a good restaurant if you want a special occasion or romantic dinner. They did not comp a dessert or wine even though it was both our birthdays. Maybe restaurants in Carmel don't think that is necessary.

Great food with an attentive and very friendly staff. The duck was excellent. We didn't have reservations, but luckily we were able to get a place at the bar....and happy to get in to this popular spot! My husband is picky about restaurants.....we both really enjoyed the ambiance and the delicious food at Andre's Bouchee, and will definately return here... More

The menu had excellent variety and their were tempting off-the-menu items. The food was delicious. I had Dover sole - a special; and my wife had a seafood risotto. Both were outstanding. The service was great. All the wait staff we're very friendly.
