Get a seat facing the kitchen and watch it work. The food is outstanding. Service was very attentive and helpful in selecting wine from the extensive list. Had the best Pinot I have ever had on recommendation. Worth a splurge.

The food was some of the best I have ever had, especially the cream of mushroom soup! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

My wife and I went to Andre's for our anniversary. We were immediately led to a lovely table next to the wine cellar. The rest of the evening was pure food bliss, accompanied with delicious wines. They offer wines by flights, glasses, or bottles. So, it is easy to pair wines with each course. The desserts...I don't want to spoil... More

We ducked into this restaurant when we couldn't find a place open for lunch at 2 in the afternoon. Service was exception, place was very busy. I ordered the mushroom ravioli which was exceptional but my friends ALL ordered the croque monsieur (swank for ham and cheese sandwich) and OMG it was delicious. This is no ordinary ham and cheese,... More

My husband and I tried this restaurant on our visit to Carmel-by-the-Sea. It was our first visit here. I wanted to try a French restaurant since we tend to eat at mostly Asian. I ordered the seafood linguini. The shrimp was cooked to perfection as were the scallops. I'm used to overcooked, hard shrimp at most restaurants so this was... More

I had the salmon on the main menu, melted in my mouth. my husband had the beef tenderloin with wine sauce, great as well. the endive salad and the escargot were amazing. can't... More

Went here based upon Trip Advisor reveiws. What a letdown! Ordered sweetbreads ... only when they arrived you needed a magnifying glass to find them under numerous potato wedges. When I commented on the paucity of food,I got a shrug.from the manager. The waiter was AWOL immediately after bringing the meal. Won't be back.

My wife and I had an early dinner before a Bach festival concert. The restaurant gives glasses of sparkling white wine as part of their festival partnership. We had excellent service and the food was outstanding. My wife had mushroom soup which she said was one of the best. I had hairloom tomatoes, mozzerella and fresh basil that was perfect.... More

We were set up to go here by the innkeeper where we spent the night. He was right on. We had a great dinner and dessert. The wine list is extraordinary. Expect to pay for the wine though. Silver Oak was one of the lowest priced at $126. The sommelier was fun and knowledgeable. The food prices are reasonable for... More
