Perfect for YUMMY Christmas Eve... Thanks Christophers!

We visit Carmel 1-2 times a year for many years. This time was our first at Christophers. The dishes were inventive and tasty. We were not into wine that evening... just had a nice glass. We had a chanterelle mushroom and polenta appetizer that was lovely, rich and a comfort to eat. We ordered... read more

We enjoyed our dinner at C's, but one of our party ordered pasta with sea scallops but there were spices that overpowered the scallops and he found the dish inedible. In my opinion, for the price, (about $120/couple with appatizers/entree/coffee/splitting dessert and a $50 bottle of wine for the four of us), it should have been a uniquily enjoyable experience,... Has we walked from our hotel to this restaurant, we felt under the charm of Carmel. It continued has we entered Christopher's. Our waitress was very nice and attentionate. The food and the wine we had were also all very good. Overall we really had a lovely dinner and would come back without a doubt !

We we told by some people in a bar to try out Christophers. We went thinking this must be a great spot for a nice romantic dinner in Carmel. It seemed like a typical place, nothing over the top...I ordered the fish....I got sick. I wish I could rave about but when you travel in California, and are used to... More

Delicious salads, fish, duck, fun seasonal dishes, organic options including chicken. Great wine list and cocktails. For the quality of the dishes this is one of the best kept secrets in Carmel as well as the value. The restaurant is attractive and has a beautiful fireplace and well balanced seating and a small bar area. Romantic.

Christopher's on Lincoln offers a very nice Carmel dining experience. The tables are set in a large room with a fireplace. The menu consists of numerous starters and a variety of entrees to please almost anyone. The wine list has a concentration of local Monterey County wines to complement the Peninsula cuisine. Our group of 4 enjoyed 3 starters, Mushroom... More
