This was our second time at Christopher and it was even better than the first, which was outstanding. Christphers is a wonderfully quaint and romantic place. Our waiter, Danny was great. Some excellent recommendations for both appetizers and main course. Both the Salmon served that night and the Osso Bucco were delicious. A nice portion and presentation made for a... More

We go to Carmel about every other year and walk thru town and look at menus and decide where to eat dinner. This restaurant was wonderful in every way. Gourmet food, fairly priced, nice ambience, quiet, attentive staff.

When Christopher is there it is a great place for dinner but when he's not.....it's just not even average. We go a lot when in town and in the beginning we always saw him. But we noticed 2 times he wasn't there and food was average then we went, he was there and food was great, not there again and... More

We were searching on tripadvisor the same day to find a nice american restaurant in Carmel and found Christopher's. It is located very central close to the shopping area in a nice building. It's a quite dressed up restaurants and it didn't feels like there was so many tourists in there. The food has a very nice touch and it... More

We went to Christopher's on a Friday night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. When we return, we will order appetizers and drinks and skip the entree', not because it wasn't delicious, but because it was a lot of food! The fried green tomatoes were perfectly prepared with a fresh, flavorful marinara sauce, and a crispy coating on the delicate tomatoes.... More

This is a charming restaurant in downtown carmel. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. Everything we had was very good and the restaurant is in one of the oldest buildings in the area. It really feels like a house. If someone didn't recommend it u might not find it. Well priced too.

The service was awful and so was the food. There was in manager on site so another waiter had to address our problems. Will never go back there.

This is a cozy, white tablecloth restaurant located in the downtown area of Carmel. We found the service to be attentive and friendly. I had the lamb and my husband had pork, and both entrees were perfectly cooked and flavorful. It is on the pricier side, but in line with similar restaurants in the area. No ocean view, but the... Almost like it was in the old days, an elegant dining room where you can dress up or not, with food that is simple, yet special and always prepared to perfection and how you order. Service friendly and not over intrusive. A really good choice for romantics, families, or taking your parents!
