The surroundings were lovely and the food was good. The drinks were also good and pretty. It is definitely an adult venue and the dress is a bit more upscale than others - although it's not coat and tie.

We were looking forward to trying Christopher's On Lincoln in Carmel. The location and environment were very 'cozy'. We were told in advance that the food was quite delightful as was the setting. Unfortunately we were not really impressed by either. Granted Christopher's on Lincoln is in a quaint neighborhood of Carmel, but the restaurant décor was just ordinary --... More

Dined herewith our friends who live in Carmel.wait staff was kind, helpful and attentive and the restaurant was quite empty which really was helpful in terms of a pleasant atmosphere and quiet setting with great ability to converse can omfortably. We were seated near the fireplace which initially felt warm and cozy but ultimately was a bit on the toasty... More

This is a nice Carmel place with great food that might be described as a step above traditional comfort food, but a step below haute cuisine. Everything was delicious, in particular the soft shell crab and the chile relleno. Service was very friendly and prompt. This is a great spot for dinner with friends or just for a nice evening... We know Carmel well and for the second time dined at Chrisopher's. Both times the food was average with my wife's fish on lentils swimming on what looked like lentil soup. My lamb shank was very good. The ambience in the place is superior and its clean and well maintained. The owner seated us and was rude by telling me... More

Christopher's is a lovely little place on a quiet street in downtown Carmel. Nice dining room, white table cloths, good but not great service. Nice little bar. Good wine list with fair prices. What's not to like? Well, the food is OK, but far from outstanding. Note that while most of the reviews are 5-star, Christopher's is listed only 22nd... More

We went during our visit in beautiful Carmel. The dinner was one to remember, do not miss out on the fried green tomatoes, nor the Osso Bucco! Good service, and a magic sunset dazzling through the cypress trees..

One of our favorite places in the peninsula. The owner Chris is a master Chef and a great guy. Not as good at golf. Be that as it may, my wife and I love going there often. A small but well stacked bar ads to his great wines. Just one block from ocean avenue cypress trees engulf this beautiful and... More

That's the Christopher's on Lincoln tagline, which lives up to all it promises. Service is just the right level of attentive, supported by a wonderfully fun and accommodating staff, and menu options to satisfy everyone. The pricing seems like a bargain for what most consider upscale meal. Combined with one of the most comfortable, well appointed dining rooms in Carmel... More
