We were there for a late lunch - 2 pm. Maybe two other tables occupied. The usual chips and salsa were very good - chips light and salsa a smoky one, not too picante. Wife had crab enchilada and pronounced it very good. I had the shredded beef burrito - huge! Very tasty and I could not finish it. This... More

Hola's is always a good place for a reasonable and tasty meal. Check to see if they are running any specials. Sometimes they will have 50% off dinner nights - although their prices are reasonable even without the discount. The chips are fresh and the salsa "to die for". Their salads are generous and good - and one could make... More

We arrived at 8pm for dinner on a quiet evening. There is no mention of a closing time on the door, and at around 9pm we ordered a second round of beers. Although the staff did not mention that they wished to close up early, it was suddenly made very clear. The music was turned off, and some of the... More

We were exhausted when we arrived in Carmel, we stayed at Forest Lodge which we LOVED, ended up ordering Takeout from Hola, The quesadillas and enchiladas were both excellent. Highly reccomended by all 3 of us.

Big restaurant but very few people in it. Every six months or so we give it another try. Each time we leave feeling "what the f did we do this for again?" This recent visit was the last. They just don't get it. From slllllowwwwww service to lackluster food and presentation. Big quantities do not make up for small quality.... More

They really have no idea of how to run a restaurant. Service is slow and chaotic. Food is just ok, a little on the sweet side for Mexican.

We had a tough time finding the place but once we did we were a little surprised as to it's size. It's quite large and has a very beautiful room off the main room. We arrived quite late and the restaurant was virtually empty with only 1 other couple there at the time. A party of 4 entered shortly after... More

We had a wonderful experience at this friendly little restaurant. Good portions to value, tasty authentic Mexican food, drinks made to please, and service very attentive. On a sunny day, outside seating is the icing on the cake! A must try for quality food!

We live on the east coast and depended on reviews/recommendations when we planned our son's rehearsal dinner. The restaurant is decorated beautifully with lots of sparkle and color. We were served family style with tables set up in groups of 8 to 10 (our group consisted of 28) with fresh salsa, guacamole, and chips waiting for consumption. The salsa satisfied... More

Stopped to try for lunch. When my wife and I walked in we were greeted by someone who communicated to us from the far end of the bar yelling (through the people sitting at the bar) just sit anywhere. After placing our order made a quick trip to the men’s room to wash my hands, clean but no towels to... More
