Quite Good, But Pricey

We stopped for a quick dinner before an event at the hotel. The pork ribs and potato cakes were both excellent, however I found the menu to be a little too imaginative for my taste and it was quite pricey. The atmosphere was really nice, however so overall it's a nice dining experience. The service... read more

Fancy and rich menu. Beautiful atmosphere for a family reunion with good food. Service was good with a nice variety of wines

Pleasant high-end restaurant. Knowledgable waiter, good cocktail bar (with The Botanist gin- top marks). My sea bass was good, with an excellent New Zealand white wine. Pricey, but worth it for a treat.

Service is very poor, food is nothing special, especially considering the price. Chicken was under cooked, meat was warmed up in the microwave.

Outstanding dining experience. They were featuring their Chilean menu, which was superb. The appetizer empanadas were tasty. Great wine list. The risotto is a must.

The menu looks great and was supplemented by a Chilean menu that is being tested ... that also offered many tempting items. We has Beet salad, empanadas, musssels and sea bass. The beet salad was excellent, as were the mussels. The empanadas had a nice filling, but had too much dough. The sea bass was nicely presented, but was served... More

When I last ate here, Ruth Bader Ginsberg was at the next table! This restaurant is a great amalgam of swanky and totally laid back. It's set in a beautiful, high end hotel/spa in La Costa, and the menu, service and food all deserve 5 stars!

Had dinner here last night, and enjoyed it. There was live music out on the patio, which was nice. Service was perfect, attentive but not overly intrusive, good suggestions. The menu is not extensive, but we enjoyed what we had - the shortribs and yukon gold potatoes, with a side of vegetables and quinoa, and a bottle of wine. They... More
