Nice wine selection, impeccable service; the bread basket alone is delicious and I was thrilled with the several vegan options available. The ambiance is also wonderful - indoors as well as on the patio.

The food was really good but the fountain was not turned on when we were eating & we were told it was broken......the when leaving it was on....it had been on the whole time we spent at La Costa....so what do yo think?.......Best restaurant in La Costa!..........salmon & lentil dinner was the best!

Food was decadent. Lamb was just about the best I have ever had. The service was attentive and patient but very thorough.

Visited while staying at resort. Food was very good and nice atmosphere.husband had jambalaya type fish dish, I had skirt steak all delicious.

Breakfast and lunch were buffet for our group. Every meal was excellent. Fresh food, cooked very well and good selection. Service was very good also.

We went to Bluefire with our two young boys on our last night at La Costa. The hostess and wait staff were friendly and accommodating, and the ambiance inside the restaurant was cozy. The waiter recommended pasta ragu and it was bland. The atmosphere is nice though--we ate outside overlooking the lovely courtyard with a fountain. A good choice if you have to eat on site. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
