Pizza and Beer was Great. Try to go when it's not busy.

My wife and I arrived and it was a little confusing, there is one line for food (grub) and one line for drink (grog). Once you get past ordering you just wait patiently for your food. It tends to get a little busy around the drink line so order two. If you are looking for a deal, try and order... read more

if you like craft beers, they have a good selection. Have never seen this place not crowded. The pizza we had was mediocre with a bit too much sauce. Spending over 50 bucks for beer, a medium pizza, and mozzarella sticks was no bargain. I will leave this place for the locals and will not return.

We sat at the bar for a couple of beers soaking in the "I'm on vacation" high we were on. Staff was friendly and helpful, great selection of beers. We ordered pizza from the bar area avoiding the lines. Pizza was tasty but for us the beers are what brought us back for the next three days of our stay.... More

This place gets boring after awhile. long lines to order, then another line for drinks(which are great, beer and cider) then hustling around for seating, then waiting for at least a salad, then the other parts of meal. Its an ordeal and the food was sub-par this time. Think they need to step it up little and not rest on whatever laurels... More

I can't understand the enthusiasm expressed by other reviewers. What's to like about long waits for mediocre pizza? What's to like about seating chaos at picnic tables? What's to like about children running around in a brewery? Arcade game machines in what should be an adult atmosphere? It IS a microbrewery after all. I suppose if you drink enough beer... More

Hilton recommended and it was exactly what we were looking for -- easy, cool atmosphere, little crowded but fun, child & family friendly. No reserved seating but this is not the character of the place.

The pizza here was delicious, but it took a bit to get our food but it was extremely busy, which is always a good sign.

I love this place. The pizza is not the best. Who cares though? The pizza combinations are unique. The beer is definitely some of the best that you will get in the state. The combination of the pizza and wonderful beer make this a relaxed place despite all the people. I can spend hours here. It's always a welcoming time.... More

Pizza Port Carlsbad is one of my favorite Pizza Ports, primarily because it is one of the closest locations to OC! The pizza and beer buddies are consistent with all of the other locations I have been to. The main difference between each location is the beer selection and the layout. The decor is pretty much the same formula at... More

Very good pizza and wonderful assortment of craft beers. We had Roma & Laguna pizzas & can recommend both. Open, family atmosphere filled w/locals. Excellent value for your dollar but festival-style seating & separate lines to order food and alcohol. No louder than most sports bars. Do not over dress for this friendly, laid back, casual experience.
