My wife and I stopped in a few weeks ago and just had an enjoyable experience. The food was excellent. The Staff was a joy and the beer was ice cold...what else could you ask for...we really enjoyed ourselves.

Now that we have dined the 2nd time at this establishment, I have to say they work hard to please their customers.

This is one of our favorite fish restaurants. We live in the east San Gabriel Valley and make it a point to vacation in Carlsbad often - partly because we like this restaurant so much! The fish is perfectly grilled, and delicious. They have an excellent selection of fish on the menu, but be aware there is ONLY fish and shellfish... More

I have eaten here many times but lately the service is slow (along with the long wait) and the last time my monk fish was raw in places. The prices keep going up but it is not matched with service or quality any more.

Have eaten here many times over the past 20 years and the variety of seafood offered is excellent. In the summer, expect a wait for a table. Fairly priced. My wife and I like the options for preparation. Nothing fancy, which suits us. Decor is dated, but who cares. Go for the food, not the ambiance. Centrally located in downtown... More

As you walk in, there is a cold ice case where you can purchase raw fish to take home and cook, which we plan to do in the future. The atmosphere is calm with beautiful fish tanks centerally located and stuffed trophy fish on the walls for decor. On this Monday evening, we had no wait and the service from... More

The fisherman platter and Alaskan Halibut are really good dishes. There service is not very professional, mostly really young inexperienced women. Most diners appear to be senior citizens.

We've given this place at least three tries, and every time have walked away disappointed with the meal. The fish swimming in the huge fishtanks inside are the best feature of this restaurant, but they are (fortunately) NOT on the menu ... they are the entertainment. (Yes, they will hover and stare at you, eating their relatives .... ) The... More

A friend recommended the restaurant for the fresh seafood. He said it was nothing fancy, just good, fresh fish. Sounded great. We arrived and waited about 10 minutes for the table. Once seated, we ordered a drink and looked over the menu. We ordered the White Sea Bass and Salmon. Sea Bass came raw in the center and Salmon was... More

We went on a very busy Saturday night. The staff seemed extremely overwhelmed and unprofessional. We were disappointed in the entire experience. We felt we were at a Red Lobster. Completely underwhelmed by food and service. We would not return.
