A friend recommended the restaurant for the fresh seafood. He said it was nothing fancy, just good, fresh fish. Sounded great. We arrived and waited about 10 minutes for the table. Once seated, we ordered a drink and looked over the menu. We ordered the White Sea Bass and Salmon. Sea Bass came raw in the center and Salmon was... More

We went on a very busy Saturday night. The staff seemed extremely overwhelmed and unprofessional. We were disappointed in the entire experience. We felt we were at a Red Lobster. Completely underwhelmed by food and service. We would not return.

We had the Mahi Mahi (cajun style), Swordfish (cajun style) and kids menu. The kids portion was big and they couldn't finish their meal. Everything looks so fresh.

Spent a week in Carlsbad and ate here FOUR times. Exceptional seafood selection--possibly the largest we've seen in a restaurant. Wonderful ceviche as was the Shrimp Vera Cruz. Had several other selections--Wahoo, Ahi, Snapper, all grilled perfectly. Phenomenal warm sourdough rolls were extraordinary. Not a fancy place but fairly priced. Go if you seek great seafood!

We decided to go to this restaurant after reading Trip Advisor reviews. Stay away from this place. We had mussels which were cooked in water. No flavor whatever. We ordered Boston clam chowder. My husband asked the waitress if it came from a can. She claimed they make it on site but admitted it's different each day depending on the... More

Returned to the restaurant after another visit last year. Really enjoyed the mussels, clam chowder and fresh fish. Went back twice on this visit. Highly recommended.

thought we would try because we wanted fish. the calamari steak was absolutely terrible and like rubber. Husband had a shrimp pasta dish but when he asked for some sauce for it the waitress was clearly miffed and reluctantly finally got some. Food was bad but service was worse. Will not return to this one

I was here to eat lunch, nice place, food tastes good, the server was quick and efficient, but when I asked for a beer the waiter brought me what i wanted later than i expected.

The fish courses were good with nice fresh fish, but everything was bland, and the accompanying side dishes were boring - we had the tomatoes which were just raw, rather large cherry tomatoes sitting on a lettuce leaf. The sourdough rolls were the best part of the dinner!

It seems almost unfair to review this restaurant as I do it strictly based on personal taste. I love food and I subscribe to the ethos of quality over quantity and I want to get what I pay for and pay for something I will enjoy. The four of us that went ranged from 20-76 in age. Needless to say... More
