Had nice family meal and the adults were able to sample some new brews If there was a problem, it had to do with an order of Mac and cheese. MUCH to salty. To the restaurants benefit they did take the cost off the bill. We will definitely keep coming back.

A great place to fill up the kids before a long day at LEGOLAND. Service average, not great. Good buffet selection, the omelets are great! Not cheap, as adults are $12.95 pp.

Wined, Beered & dined here after our Lego-land visit. Our dinner was "excellent" along with the select craft beers. To our surprise we were seated right away with a friendly warm welcome. It was nice to see the restaurant manager visit each table to ensure good food & great service! We highly recommend this restaurant to all families as well... More

We went as a party of 3. Food was delicious and the different beers were fun to try and very good. But I come from a large family and happened to notice about 3 or 4 tables of 8 or more people. Finding a place that can easily seat a large group in a resort area with a varied menu... More

We dined here after our visit to Legoland. Seems like others had the same idea, as the place was full of families getting an early dinner. I would expect the crowd becomes more adult as the night wears on. Great appetizers and comfort food options, and of course, good craft beer selections. Service was friendly. We would definitely recommend it... More

Conveniently located for those staying at the Grand Pacific Palisades Resort or visiting Legoland. Our party of six all enjoyed our entrees; from the Buffalo chicken macaroni & cheese (you have to ask for it as it's not on the menu), to the sashimi salad, to the meatloaf & mashed potatoes (served only on Wednesdays). The beer list is not... More

We were staying a the hotel next door so we had both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. The service both times was great as was the food and beers. Breakfast is a great deal at $12.95 for adults and $5.95 for kids for the buffet, including drinks. We had dinner at the restaurant during happy hour, when beers were... More

Food for the four of us included a chicken dish, fish, burger and shrimp, and all were excellent. They had ample portions and were wonderfully presented. Burger had shoestring fries which are a favorite and hard to find in our area. My shrimp with avocado pieces over habanero jack grits was a July special and outstanding. Workers were all personable... More

In Carlsbad for a mini-vacation with some family at Grand Pacific Palisades, our home resort. Room wasn't ready so we wandered over to Karl Strauss for some lunch. Five us ordered various appetizers and they were all delicious and huge! Buffalo wings were actually chicken tenders in a spicy sauce with ranch dressing. The black garlic fondue was full of... More
