The location for dinner was a little to dark.( lightning) Perfect and friendly service. Food was very good. Great wine choices . We had a good evening. The water bottle could be taken to the room. Special wrapping!

Ambrosia! I can't wait to try to recreate this recipe at home. I fear I'll only come close. I don't like beets, but the yellow ones in this dish were delicious.

First, you need to go on a Friday or Saturday night and hear Wolf Marshall--he is an amazing (and world famous) guitarist. I only wish he had his trio with him (like when he played in the bar area outside the restuarant). You need to get rid of your (mis)conceptions of what a hotel restauarant would be. IT is worthy... It was a little pricier than expected, but the service, food and specially the pasta were great. We got inn a little to early so considering it is a huge place it filled out after.

I have never paid soooo much for so little! For a special occasion, three of my friends and I had lunch at the Bistro today. I am a local. To be brief, everything was great except my food. I made the mistake of ordering the "crispy" sea bream fish for $22. Not only was it soggy, but it was the... More

My wife and I went to Vivace to celebrate Valentines Day. We generally do not celebrate on the actual day, because, on that day, lots of restaurants provide a limited menu at a higher price, and tend to add tables in less than optimal locations to maximize their take on the day. We went there the day after having reviewed... More

Vivace was awesome from start to finish. At first it appeared I had to have all or nothing on the prix fixe dinners. But no, because I only had room for two courses I was only charged for two courses -- the Bistro outlet should take note. Service was excellent, the food was interesting and perfectly prepared I am going... More

They gave us a lovely table by the fireplace. We did the 4 course pre-fixe menu and had the dessert sent to our room as the final course. The ambiance, service and food were all excellent. My favorite was the beets with burrata and my wife's favorite was the squid ink pasta with prawns. A lovely evening and I recommend... More

We went to the Sunday "Pranzo" Lunch at Vivace recently and it was outstanding and a very good value for $45. The dining room and terrace is beautiful. The lunch begins with appetizer stations with extremely fresh seafood, including large head-on prawns, peeled shrimp, cured salmon, oysters, and excellent octopus salad; salumis and cheeses and antipasto bar with interesting vegetable... Excellent service team. It reminded me of fine dining on a cruise ship. The food is very small portions but so delicious that you don't need to stuff yourself. It's expensive, but a very nice dinner out.
