Great food, dog-friendly, nice neighborhood.

I loved everything about this pub. On a Sunday morning, it was fun to sit on the patio with our dog and eat their delicious potato pancake filled with corned beef and a yummy sauce and sip my Irish Coffee (Kathleen's Coffee) My husband had the potato pancake with the mushroom sauce. Very nice atmosphere with a Irish live band playing. This is a pub. Not a classy restaurant. Pub food was good and beers as expected in a premium pub.

We came in one evening while on vacation and loved the whole experience! Our 3 year old granddaughter walked in and promptly walked up to the bar and climbed on a stool beside an older gentlemen and it was so cute when he turned to her and looked down and said "can I buy you a drink?" Funny! The pub... More

In and out for a quick bite of lunch mid-week. Sat at the bar and ordered a cup of the chicken cordon bleu soup from the pleasant bartendress. The soup, well, it was a peculiar tasting soup, not what I expected, but should have known with a name like that in an Irish pub it wouldn't meet my expectations. It... More

We stopped in for a late lunch after a day of sightseeing. Because it was so late (2:30 pm +/-) there was hardly anyone in the place. Our server, Jenn H, greeted us promptly. We ordered a couple of pint beers (Stella Artois $5.75 and Refuge IPA $6,50 - a bit much) and the Irish Nachos, made with potato chips,... More

Had lunch here and it was good food along with the ambience of an pub in Ireland. The fish & chips was delicious with 3 large pieces of cod. It was warm & muggy outside but inside it was cool & on the dark side surrounded by lots if Irish memorabilia. I'm sure this is a very busy place at... More

Super location, you can walk everywhere in Carlsbad Village, beer was good, cold, atmosphere is friendly, good service, lots of locals and live music that's not overpowering. Food choices are excellent, food itself is okay Irish pub grub (not great, not large portions, but it will fill your belly).

Typical pub fare, but all very good. We sat outside and the seating out there isn't very comfortable, but it was nice to be outside. We tried wings, potato skins, and fish & chips and all were very good. Our waiter was great - friendly and attentive.

Apparently the place is Irish....they do have an Irish flag out front and serve Guiness but make no mistake this establishment is American. I asked for certain traditional food items that I love but nobody had a clue what I was on about. This bar is for American wannabe Irish folk who want to drink stout and relay stories of... More

We really enjoyed the drinks and music here! Came from The Coyote after dinner to get some drinks and were quite happy with the choice, much more our speed than the Coyote which had a lot of middle aged people and music not to our taste, this place catered a bit more to mid to late twenties and had much...
