Yes, this place is child-friendly and reasonably priced. But the food is terrible. Sub-standard sushi that wouldn't pass muster even in South Dakota. Maybe I've been spoiled by stellar sushi in LA, but even the California rolls at Mikko were bad--misshapen with brown avocado. Avoid!!! more

My partner and I had discovered Mikko serveral months ago and now eat there whenever we can. The food there is excellent. A mix between traditional sushi and not so traditional. I've eaten here a few times, and have always been somewhat disappointed. The Japanese food is not strictly authentic because the restaurant is Korean-owned. I find that Korean-run Japanese restaurants tend to be heavy-handed with the seasoning, and they lack some of the subtlety of true Japanese food.
