The Armenian cafe has been in Carlsbad for many years. They serve very tasty Armenian and Lebanese food. I like the seasonings on the meats. They serve kabobs (on skewers) and sandwiches on pita bread. The meals come with a lemon soup which is excellent and very flavorful. We ate lunch on the patio and had a nice ocean breeze... More

Been here a few times for business luncheons. Food is always good and fresh. Can't beat the hummus dip! My favorite is the Chicken Platter. Nice patio with view of the ocean too.

This restaurant faces the ocean and since most seats are outside, there is a nice view of both the shore and the promenade, busy with lots of people walking along the beachfront. The food is very good, with large portions and reasonable prices.

Best gyros I've had in a long time. Everything tastes really fresh...including the pitas. Service was good and friendly, but the food took slightly longer because it IS fresh. Nice surroundings. We will return often.

Unfortunately, we only got here once as they were always packed the other times we tried. If you are lucky, you will get a table next to the railing which offers the run-of-the-mill stunning Pacific Ocean views. We aren't exactly up on our knowledge of what constitutes Armenian food. But what we chose and got was very good. The chicken... More

Visited this place after walking past it so many times with my fiancée going for our sunset stroll. It's literally on the side of the road and you can't miss it because they have an outside dining patio facing the ocean (or the sunset in most cases). My fiancée kept mentioning how good the food was here and so we... More

Stopped by for lunch on a whim, and really glad we did since the food was EXCELLENT! My son enjoyed the "Saganaki" (flaming cheese) which was a fun visual experience as the cheese is actually on fire. It is seasoned so well and paired with soft pita bread triangles. Very delicious! I enjoyed the hummus and gyro pita sandwich, which... More

Just drove by this today and decided to take a chance. I'm glad we did. Extensive Armenian menu that's not overpriced for the area, with American favorites like burgers and fries too. All your middle eastern favorites with a distinctly Armenian flavor to the food and environs. Service was friendly. Patio seating with umbrellas. We had lunch only but I... More

We'd been here for lunch previously but this was our first dinner experience. With the platters you get soup - very very salty soup. The platters came with too much rice - and too much salt. The beef was okay except for being too salty. The lamb kebabs were good. The gyros were too salty. The salads were good. The... More
