Located close to Carlsbad Beach, The Armenian Cafe is the place to relax and enjoy great food, great service, and great atmosphere. Although inside dining is available on that rare day when the Carlsbad weather isn't perfect, the deck with it's view of Carlsbad Blvd and the ocean is the place to be. Greek/Mediterranean food is their specialty and they... More

After a long day of being out and about, we just wanted an appetizer to go. We ordered hummus. It came with pita bread so we asked for some fresh vegetables too. The pita was store bought and dry. In fact, it was in the bag from the store! I was expecting soft, warm pita! The hummus was quite good... More

I came here for lunch often for several years when I worked in Carlsbad and I’ll always stop here for breakfast or lunch if we’re passing through. This day it was overcast and chilly day so we sat inside, but on a sunny afternoon there’s a large deck which is very pleasant. Not much of a view but good for... More

This spot was next door to our motel. We enjoyed the aromas each day as we walked by...and finally had to try it. We enjoyed a late night snack...this is a great addition to the Village scene!

If you like Greek and Lebanese food, head over to the Armenian Cafe. Indoor and outdoor seating is available and they have heaters outside to take the chill off on a cool evening. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, there a many choices and you won't be disappointed.

Our server was delightful and helped us make great menu choices: Kebbe, Lah-ma-joon (thin crust pizza with gyro meat), hummus meess dip (with gyro meat, walnuts, and onions), Bereg combo (cheese, spinach). We have enjoyed good Middle Eastern food in Turkey and across the U.S., but The Armenian Café gets the gold medal! In addition, you can enjoy a stroll... More

I've eaten at the Armenian Cafe about a dozen times between 2012 and late 2014. Their lamb dishes are excellent - and I love lamb and order it often. The serving sizes are large, and the location is great, just across from the ocean in Carlsbad. The service has been consistently good, and when they have belly dancers the place... More

Staying next door at the Surf Motel, we were pleased to find this locally owned restaurant with everything made to order. We started with a pastry which was light and flaky and stuffed with fresh spinach, served with a yogurt sauce. My mother - in - law raved about the lamb, the freshly chopped tabouli salad, and the baklava. My... More

We were driving through Carlsbad at lunch time and spotted the Armenian Café. It didn't look particularly special but never having had Armenian food thought we'd give it a try. We're really glad we did. The waiter recommended the lamb and was right on. My wife had the lamb pita with potato salad and I had the Lamb skewer salad.... More
