Went here for drinks and appetizers. My father got a beer flight - allowing him to try four different beers, others in our party got different beers they had on draft. We got one of each of the snacks and they were all delicious (although I wasn't crazy about the fried cauliflower). The truffle fries were particularly delicious. We sat... More

Looking at the menu before we went in, the idea of portobella fries grabbed our attention. They were even better than we imagined. We also had an order of their brussel sprouts. They may have been the best brussel sprouts I have had. They were perfect. We also shared the blackberry panca salad-another hit with us. They had a nice... More

On a recent Sunday morning, I was looking for a place to catch some brunch and which was also pet friendly. Looked online and up popped The Compass. Was close enough and something different so called to confirm pets are allowed and then headed out to eat. Outdoor seating with lots of shade and you can people watch...so a good... More

I say average because we mostly like happy hours and so we didn't eat from the regular menu which is really packed with lots of trendy food. We had the cauliflower fritti, spicy boudin which is pork shoulder sushi rice, vinegar and pepper jack cheese. Sounded good but didn't care for it. The carnita taco was excellent. Should have ordered... More

Are at The Compass for the first time today! My turkey burger was delish and my wife enjoyed her salad. Excellent selection of draft beers. I'm definitely going back!

We stopped in for a cocktail Friday night, and tried the Ahi appetizer. It was so fun and delicious and I loved the menu so much we went back Sunday morning for brunch. It was a great breakfast for our group of five. Two dollar mimosas, bloody Mary bar, great craft beers on tap. We had a wide range of... More

Great gastro pub! Mules 5 star! Mondays after 9 they're only $5. Short ribs are the best! Shrimp appetizer yum too. Odd location, but great decore and more importantly food/drink. Service is either great or bad...depends on the waitress you get. If management is reading this please please only hire the good ones! :)

Went to this place with the expectation that it was going to be just another wanna be gastropub but it is more than that. The food is great, they have an awesome beer selection, lots of good wine and some really good looking cocktails on the menu. I haven't tried the cocktails yet but they sound really good and I...
