Great food for family and a place for the kids to run around

Very healthy food, inside and outside limited seating adjacent to a shopping court with a fountain and some grass.

Thanks to my trusty iPhone we were able to find this vegan-friendly restaurant while traveling through Carlsbad. We arrived less than 20 minutes before closing, but never felt rushed by the staff. We chose the pleasant outdoor seating area, with greenery, shade and nearby fountain. There are several vegan options, and the sesame, ginger tofu wrap was delicious! I would... More

We have been eating at The Naked Cafe for years, and it never disappoints. The food here is the highest quality and it's healthy, to boot! Try the pancakes, the pesto scramble, or anything with the herbed potatoes ... yum. For lunch there is a wide array of custom wraps or sandwiches or go for the transcendence wrap ... delicious!... While I'm a big fan of the cuisine at Naked, especially the egg white dishes and pancakes, I would head to the Solana Beach location and skip Encinitas. The Encinitas outpost is in a strip center with horrible, cramped parking; the one in Solana is across the street from the beach and Fletcher Cove. Easy decision...

Some gluten free fare here along with bear faced pancakes for the kids. The chai tea was very good, probably my favorite part. Hubby and I both enjoyed the Huevos Rancheros which filled us up for the greater part of the day. If you sit outside, there is a lovely fountain area nearby where the kids, when restless, can go... Stopped for breakfast based on Trip Advisor's recommendations. Agree with these recommendations. Large breakfast menu, many "unusual or unorthodox" combinations. I went the safe route with basic breakfast (eggs, bacon, toast, and a pancake). Food was very good. Stopped on a Monday morning, not many customers and noise not a factor mentioned by many reviewers.

Lunch taken in the open air on a fine April morning is appealing here. A mixture of tourists and residents seem well satisfied by a menu that includes a good selection of vegan options as well as some alternatives. Its part of a chain that doesn't lean too heavily on standardized practice and manages to make each place a little... More

we enjoyed The Naked Cafe. The name drew our attention, but the food kept our interest. We sat outside, and the service was prompt and friendly. The food was prepared just to our requests, and very tasty. We would go back again, for sure.

Delicious beakfast! I had 'The Plate of Prosperity' with veggie sausage, and loved it. Diverse selection, great coffee, and healthy options! They have outdoor seating so it's dog friendly. Super friendly staff.

The breakfast was one of the best I've had but the service is lacking. It's slow right from the get go and the staff seem to be running about trying to help people but nothing is actually getting done. I would go back because the food is so good but make sure you have time and patients.
