I like this place, the food is fresh, and the people are friendly. We have dined here many times, and also ordered take-away. Quality is very consistent, and the beer is cold.

Rubios is great and a flavor you can't get anywhere else! A must do when you are in the San Diego area. Fish tacos of course are the staple, but everything is great. Add a Stone Ale and you have a true local's meal!

If you are looking for a good fish taco, this is your place. The rest of their menu is great, too, but they have a great fish taco sauce that makes it my favorite chain in So. Cal.

I have only tried the burrito. The burrito has variety inside it and is filling. The ingredients, chips, salsa are fresh.

Interesting take on Ensenada style fish tacos. I like a little less cabbage and more lime on the tacos when i get mine.

The tacos are very good. Either chicken or fish tacos. We were at Legoland and we needed a good restaurant. Thought it was really a restaurant with service, but when we got there, it was a self service restaurant , but serving quality restaurant food. I converted a friend from Washington state to fish tacos. He thought I was insane. Now he eats more of them than me. Rubio's is consistently great food and great service.

We ate here twice on our trip to CA (my first fish tacos ever!) and it was really good. We had fish tacos and the chips and guac - highly reccommend.
