Great happy hour

The menu has a variety of sandwiches, burgers, salads and appetizers (with a discount during happy hour). The atmosphere is cool being right at the airport with huge windows and a cool tree accent. The service was pretty good. When we visited Friday night there was a live band playing 70s hits... read more

The place looks slick and the people who run it are. It is convenient if you're at the airport and that is the best feature. Live music consists of some amateur strumming a guitar and murdering some standard songs. If the weather is good, and not windy (airports are constructed where there is wind because wind/lift makes the airplanes fly),... More

Our primary purpose for frequenting a venue is to experience live music. The Landings has very good pub food and good drinks, all very reasonably priced, especially during Happy Hour. They have live music in the patio lounge and have a jam session on the last Thursday of the month. It's so much fun being outdoors on a balmy evening... More

I just flew out of Carlsbad and wandered into this friendly restaurant. I felt very welcomed although they were quite busy and I was solo. Audrey was terrific. She made sure that I caught my flight in time with her quick, attentive, and friendly service. I plan to return.

Went for an early dinner on a Friday eve while staying across the street at the Hampton Inn. Was a bit apprehensive given the inconsistency of the previous reviews. However, I was tired and hungry and it was right there within walking distance of my hotel. The atmosphere is a throw back in time. Nothing fancy here but it was... More

Stayed in a hotel across the street from Carlsbad airport. Woke up too late for the free breakfast at the hotel so decided to try this place. Good choice as it was WAY better than the free breakfast would have been (I've stayed there before). I had the Corned Beef Hash and eggs with hash browns. My wife had the... More

We didn't visit The Landings because we expected great food; we went for the experience. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of our breakfast and had fun watching the air traffic while we ate. I had the eggs benedict, and my husband had an omelet. Coffee was good, and we were two of only four patrons the weekday morning... More

Parking is limited. Food is good. Atmosphere is great. Service is slow. I ordered the seared ahi tuna sandwich. It was good but could've used a little more tuna.

By the small local airport, good drinks! Nice atmosphere and pleasant patrons. A hidden gem at Carlsbad airport.
